As luck would have it, I was out kayaking for a full moon paddle that night. We were just scheduling it for the full moon (or close to it) on a weekend and just got lucky. It was perfectly clear that night and the moon was pretty awesome. I don't know if it was any bigger (only about 3% closer right?), but it definitely seemed a lot brighter.
