I'm curious..

do HxH version from both animation studio use the same opening and ending song/singer? I mean, MadHouse uses the same opening and ending song/singer from SP version.

Even a rock has something it can be used for. There's a way for them to shine that even a jewel can't compare to - Sakamochi Tatsuma

I didn't watch the 1999 version, so I wouldn't know if they had the same singer.

It really gets darker. I loved this arc. The phantom troup is one scary group and is (b/c we are on a Naruto forum) a ton of times better than Akatsuki. Just saying. And Hisoka's face towards the end XD The next arc is prob the weakest arc out of all the ones in the series. It's by no means bad, and it's really entertaining (Hisoka fanservice ), but it feels kind of like a downlow after the Phantom Troupe arc. Afterwords, comes my personal favorite arc of the series:The Chimera Ant Arc.

it gets darker /wails/ OMG that hisoka face! You have no idea how many times I rewinded that part! I was dying. hisoka is my favorite character. As f-cked up & creepy he is. I can't help but love him. especially with those texts he sent to kurapika. UGH. STOP. (& YASSSS. GIVE ME THAT HISOKA FANSEVICE ) gosh, I'm literally hooked by this series. It's to the point its getting unhealthy. (It's getting as bad as my Free! Obsession)

Who doesn't love Hisoka ? He's one of my favorites. He's just a wonderful written villain and is voiced by one of my favorite voice actors, too (just for fun, check out his japanese voice from 1999). About the fanservice: You'll rewatch that scene several times So glad to hear that you like the series! It's one of the best shounens out there in my eyes.
