OMFG!!! I can't believe this.... I thought that Shippuden movie 3 would be the best anime movie of the year. But, this gold mine beats it by a mile!!!!

Plot: the main character is tricked to pretend to be his Senpai's fiance, all goes well until he receives a mysterious Email consisting of a math equation, & he decides to solve it. But, apparently that brings the world into a crisis & now his senpai's large family works together with him to save the world.....
Main Character:Kenji Koiso
The senpai: Natsuki Shinohara.

The theme seems to be somewhat familiar to the first Digimon movie (which I'm sure a lot of you guys will get nostalgic over...)

You think any movie...let alone a Naruto one, will even come close to touching Evangelion 2.0 for 2009?

Also, the reason it looks similar to the first Digimon movie is because it has the same director, Mamoru Hosoda.

When timid eleventh-grader and math genius Kenji Koiso is asked by older student and secret crush Natsuki to come with her to her family’s Nagano home for a summer job, he agrees without hesitation. Natsuki’s family, the Jinnouchi clan, dates back to the Muromachi era, and they’ve all come together to celebrate the 90th birthday of the spunky matriarch of the family, Sakae. That’s when Kenji discovers his “summer job” is to pretend to be Natsuki’s fiancé and dance with her at the birthday celebration. As Kenji attempts to keep up with Natsuki’s act around her family, he receives a strange math problem on his cell phone which, being a math genius, he can’t resist solving. As it turns out, the solution to the mysterious equation causes a bizarre parallel world to collide with Earth, and it’s up to Kenji and his new fake family to put reality back in order.

Though there is a V2 that will be released soon with better audio timing. This was apparently a rush job.

you my friend are a I've always respected you for WPC, now you've just been raised to GOD level!!!! I'm currently downloading it now but is the audio timing that bad??? if so, I think I'll go with V2. How long do you think it'll take for them to make it?

According to the blog at 719x, the guy started re-timing it early this morning... so if I really had to venture a guess, I'd say sometime later this afternoon. (EST)

It will have to be re-seeded as well, and since it's such a big file that can take a couple hours on its own regardless.

As for the timing now, it's more of a nuisance than anything else. It seems most are willing to wait, hence the torrent being a bit low on the seeding side, because they aren't gonna bother until V2 is out.

The separate file is needed to run the english subs if you download from the torrent, as I understand it.

Yes, the final subbed version is over a Korean hardsubbed raw. No, there will not be a better release until the BR DVD is available [ETA 6 months]… The DDLs are muxed [subs included], the torrent is not, but the .ass is included so subs will play. For those that already downloaded the previous unsubbed v2 .mkv file, you can download the .ass file and place it in the same folder for subs… *phew* that’s done with…

So, I need to download the .ass file too?? (I've already started downloading V2) & if I download from MU, it has the subbed version as well?

Thats how I interpret it, yeah. I think it's just already included in the big MU download.

I loved the first work from the Hosoda, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

Probably still download this torrent and watch, but I really want to get the high quality DVD release when it comes.

Thanks a lot, PJ!!!! It was great, but it lacks a little in the originality department. But it does give a different air than the first Digimon movie. Maybe because the Digimon movie strayed away from the original concept of Digimon. BTW, Izzi's got nothing on Kenji!! he's a way better genius than Izzi. My fav character here was Kazuma. & that Shouta is such an ass.....
