#865331 Post Gaiden Kishi Interview

Posted by Candleguy on 06 August 2015 - 07:42 PM

To all the people who claimed that Hinata and Sakura were "realistic" or their storyline were realistic

I wonder how they feel knowing that Kishimoto had to pick up a textbook on women to get Sarada to be a decent female in his pov

Does this not imply he considers Sakura/Hinata failures?

I don't think this in anyway stops them from making Boruto GT somewhere down the line

They bonded so much that Sakura taped over her picture

#865062 Boruto - the movie

Posted by Candleguy on 06 August 2015 - 05:00 AM

This is the hilarious thing about Kishimoto he plans the pairings early on right but he CAN'T write about them according to him.

Someone else writes about the NH romance. SS is entirely off screen.

He says he is embarrassed to write romance but he milks NaruSaku as a relationship red herring up the climax of the story.

So he doesn't like writing romance but creates a romantic misdirection between people he decided early on wouldn't work.

You can't make it up

#860516 Questions I need answered for fanfic purposes

Hello folks

I am currently thinking about a story featuring gender flipped Naruto and Sakura. I am sure such a story has been done before but I haven't read one. I imagine Naruto's female name is Naruko generally in such cases but is there a fanon name for the other gender flipped characters? E.G does Sakura have a fanon male name?

At the moment I am thinking of just keeping every one's names the same and just let "she" and "he" do most of the work.

#845446 Naruto Gaiden- Chapter 700.8

Don't even start down this track. Fans of other forums are welcome here.

Yeah and they should expect criticims of SS and NH

If they want to open a dialog about SS I am sure there is a section of the forum for that to make a thread in

Going around a narusaku forum going hey you guys should think more unbiased about NH/ss like me a fan of it, is absurd.

#845189 Naruto Gaiden- Chapter 700.8

Posted by Candleguy on 18 June 2015 - 02:00 PM

Look I understand you guys are not happy with the direction the manga has taken but in an unbiased way of looking at it, it IS possible that Sasuke and Sakura could have formed a bond that has not been shown, I mean look at Naruhina they hardly had panel time and yet tadaaa married. (If you're just going to complain about how stupid that is because it's not shown then please don't respond because obviously this is the way Kishimoto has chosen to write his romance so lets leave it at that.)

SO, from what I can see Sasuke was there for Sarada when she was young due to the flashback where he is walking with her and Sakura holding hands, but probably a short visit or he up and left around when sarada was a toddler.
OKAY SO HERE IS MY PREDICTION:
Sarada is actually an experiment created by Orochimaru by gathering dna from Sasuke and Karin wanting to create some uchiha/uzumaki hybrid and that explains how the onion boy and shin guy know about/ wanted to steal sarada because they know she possesses sharingan etc, and so when Sarada was born as a baby Sasuke found out about this and probably lashed at orochimaru for doing this and Karin wanted nothing to do with sarada even though it's her dna, so Sasuke ended up taking her and telling Sakura about this, Sakura being the kind person she is accepts Sarada as her and Sasuke's child and raises it and that's how the whole karin being the mother thing comes into play. (Also maybe the thing about Sakura not being able to have children is true or she had a miscarriage?)
OR
The whole Karin thing is a misunderstanding/red-herring, sasusaku was just being trolled and Karin is not the mother, Sakura is in fact the birth mom.

"Unbiased way"

Please stop its embarrassing

So we are being told there is this super special romance that excuses a whole bunch of questionable behavior and we are supppsed to not complain that its happened off screen if it happen at all?

Kishis job is to build chracterization and convince us of things on the story. We see characterization broken for the sake of these relationships and we are supposed to accept oh it happened off screen or in their minds as convincing storytelling and good writing?

Oh yeah he wrote NH terriblly and he's doing that with SS so we shouldnt complain we should just eat up.

Its easier just to tell people not to read Gaiden.

#776850 Did you consider Sasuke to be Asexual?

Posted by Candleguy on 12 March 2015 - 12:57 AM

Sasuke was traumatized as a child, having his brother who was the dearest person to him kill his entire clan, then make him relive those moments for 72 hours.
It's obvious he not have any interest in any FanGirl at the age of 13 with this terrible trauma to focus in his revenge objective.

Only because he wasn't interested in any FanGirl or  the creepy Karin  before 17 does not mean he is asexual.

Sasuke wasn't in the healthiest mindset in the manga because of his dark past.

When sasuke finally come back to his good sense in the last two chapters.

Sasuke didn't had any problem to accept Sakura's feelings and  do the most intimate act between a couple (sex) with her and start a family.

This is shounen manga not a romance manga. Girl's feelings are much  more emphasized than Boy's feelings.

Are terrible SS defense arguments making their way here as well?

So this is the new, who do you think are showing pics about Sakura spending time with nh children or  nh spending time with Sarada and ss spending time with nh children saying that is NS?

I assume you are talking about that pic on tumblr?

its a pic of NH/SS  with Naruto and Hinata playing with Sarada and SS playing with Bolt and the other one. it was tagged NaruSaku.

#755574 The Final Naruto Volume #72

Posted by Candleguy on 08 February 2015 - 09:32 PM

I couldn't agree more, it still solidifies my reason for Volume 71 being the true Final Volume:

UmNTtIR.jpg

I mean Let's look at the facts:

  • Team 7 worked together to take down Kaguya
  • The origin of how the stone tablet came to me and Black Zetsu revelation
  • Obito's sacrifice in assisting Team 7
  • The reunion between Obito and Rin in the afterlife
  • The defeat of Kaguya Ootsutski
  • Hagaromo rescues Team 7 from Kaguya's Dimension and thanking them for saving the world
  • The CHARACTERS WEREN'T OOC
  • The small and final NaruSaku scene in the manga:

naruto-5158785.jpg

Plus this final page is satisifies me about the series coming to an end.

I know some people are gonna be like well what about afterwards, and my response to you guys is make your own little head canon that happens after the events of Volume 71 regarding the Naruto VS Sasuke fight, and the aftermath of it. Like I've said for probably the 20th time This volume probably ends Naruto for me when it comes to the series.

Sakura and Naruto are so similair

i'll never understand why people think opposites attract signifies any kind of chemistry.

1. He thinks that this movie would fall apart if it weren't for Sakura b/c she's being the matchmaker in this movie.

2. Mentioned the whole rivalry thing (doesn't really comment on it though).

3. He cherished the 5 seconds of Sasuke he had in the movie (he loves Sasuke) and acknowledges that his presence was not necessary in the movie.

4. Animation was top notch; music is mostly a remastered version from the anime

5. thought the kiss scene was good, but the moment where Hinata put her hands around him was better.

6. The scene where Naruto and Hinata regressed back to kids was corny but good.

7. Scarf is a strong symbol of love

isn't the genjutsu the matchmaker?

#750082 Why was Sasuke so cruel to Sakura in the end?

Posted by Candleguy on 01 February 2015 - 08:22 PM

If Sasuke did have some thoughts about Sakura the pairing wars would have ended awhile ago because Sakura's love  isn't one sided anymore.

It seems that Kishi also wanted to keep the tension between the love triangle with SS vs NS inside team 7 and the mystery about Sasuke's redemption in part 2.

Because of this Kishimoto only showed the result of love triangle and made SS Canon with Sasuke being soft and sweet with Sakura in the very last chapter when He was redeemed.

Kishi always wanted to make Sasuke's character   ambiguous towards Sakura  in war

Better exemple:

Chapter 631 smiled to  Sakura and saved her

Later he was cruel with her.

After Sasuke holding Sakura preventing her from falling while he is looking deep in her eyes.

Later delivered a Genjutsu to her.

Kishi  after tried to explain this

Sasuke  came to feel that Team 7 was his family, at times he indulged those feelings, and at other times he despised himself for the weakness it represented. He knew he could not be weak to go with revenge.
He needed to cut his ties  because staying there meant giving into the weakness of Team 7 which represented family to him.

SS has mutual reciprocation at the end when Sasuke was redeemed and stopped try cut his ties. At this moment It's obvious he will accept Sakura's love.

Not to mention there's no reason to Naruto vs Sasuke when Sasuke already loves Sakura and accepted his bond with her.

Imagine if Sasuke accepted  Sakura's love in her second confession in 693 and give up his fight against Naruto...

I love the fact that you and I guess kishi as well thinks glances and a smile are equal to or balance out mental and physical abuses. He was going to let Sakura die on the lava and he constantly made her feel ashamed of herself.

I've never seen the concept of "he was pushing her away" be used so cruelly. And the difference between this and SN is that long ago Kishimoto made it absolutely clear the connection Naruto and Sasuke had (white background speaking through fists) Naruto was genuine threat to Sasuke's mindset.

Sasuke could not have treated Sakura worse without having that connection with her.

You know I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I actually want Borruto and Sarada to become a couple. However given how things have been relating to Kishi logic just doesn't apply. Will I be happy if it happens, it all depends on the proper development for the couple to become canon, and that's something I'm doubting at the moment.

I think you should be concerned first and foremost on whether Salad will have anything else to do but be pairing fodder
