i'm sure we'll see the original 'will of the abyss' to make things 'right'

mirai nikki spoilers

or maybe it'll be like the ending of mirai nikki, where the main character makes everything 'right' when he time traveled to follow the 'villian' (who is also the main character haha), and helped out the other characters' screwed up life.. now that i typed that out, wow that is really similar to what's happening in pandora hearts now

Another mind-bending chapter

So this time around I decided to make a video to put all of my thoughts into:

 

 

Long story short for anyone who has no desire to listen to the video:

- The fourth wall suffered a long, hard struggle this time around. What a chapter...

- We got to see Ada's reasoning for being interested in Vincent like she was! I've been hoping to see that!

- Sharon vs. Lottie ought to be quite fun.

- Oz the B(adass)-Rabbit

- Hoping for clarification on how Noise and Echo ended up like they did now.

Nooo, I don't want it to end yet.  But I guess all good things must come to an end sooner or later. Approximately how many chapters does that leave to finish?

Each volume on average has 4-5 chapters, so not including Retrace 93, we should probably have 3-4 left.

And it is...

...a short, sweet chapter to open up the last volume of the series. Really short. Which implies the following chapters will likely be rather large, especially considering it's the ending.

 

Reim really showed his stuff this chapter. How he handled all of this was really admirable.

 

 

Lottie practically flirting with him afterwards (shown above) was surprising icing on the cake.

 

His and Lily's relationship is so great. Now we wait to see how all of these bonds and interactions come into play in the final chapters... Let's brace ourselves.

weird, the chinese version i read has lottie saying 'you obviously had no intention to be shot at all'

Gah, I totally didn't realize the chapter had come out so I'm way late.   It was really good though and I'm excited to see how this final volume will play out, but I think it will be a bittersweet feeling when it's all over. I guess I'll just have to read it through again once it's finished like I did with Soul Eater.

Gah, I totally didn't realize the chapter had come out so I'm way late.   It was really good though and I'm excited to see how this final volume will play out, but I think it will be a bittersweet feeling when it's all over. I guess I'll just have to read it through again once it's finished like I did with Soul Eater.

 

That's the one thing I'm looking forward to about it ending: rereading it from the beginning (again) with the ending in mind.

Surprising to see...

...Cheshire return after all this time. I won't lie, I missed him. It's kinda fitting he reappears now too. Break dies, and shortly after, Cheshire returns. Speaking of Break, his poor corpse was being thrown around like a rag doll.

 

It looks like Echo may have a literal expiration date... That's fairly terrifying.

I wasn't expecting Cheshire to make a reappearance. Interesting. I've always liked his character so it's cool to see him again, but I wonder what his plan is?

I'm not at all sure how this is going to be wrapped up in just a few chapters, I hope it's at least a somewhat conclusive ending that doesn't leave me forever wondering "what happened next?"

don't you guys find recent story of pandora hearts and naruto quite similar? pandora have those 'judges' that manipulate baskervilles and the heads, and naruto have black zetsu that manipulate uchihas and the heads, both recording the 'story' of their worlds.

i can't quite put my finger on it, but is it because the revelation in pandora hearts is much more grand? with the court and stuff.

 

i don't like that in naruto it kinda degrades kaguya to the same old 'mother with the child' trope.. sry but i think even if kishi didn't mean to, he's really sexist.
