You and me both, I also loved the breasts part, What confuses me is when Naruto used Sexy Jutsu on Bee back on the Island it had no effect on Bee, yet now bee was gawping at Tsuande's breasts, and in this chapter Yugito's boobs biggrin.gif . Seriously did Naruto influence him that much that He has turned Bee perverted. rolleyes.gif

It can't. Madara has all their beasts remember? He made them jinchuuriki again.

EDIT Tobi damn it, TOBI.

First, we have no indication that his is likely to be water. It has never been shown. Plain and simple.

And yes, kyuubi is the strongest. I have no time to go hunting for archives but its been explicitly stated. And what I think is that Naruto never got proper training. The rest of the jinchuuriki were trained to control their beasts no doubt from childhood and Naruto wasn't so that's the only reason I can think of.

As I stated in my follow up reply, I beleived water because of his links with Whirlpools, from his name, his surname, his fathers name, and the village his mother originates from all seem to suggest a link with water, you can't have a whirlpool without water, though I have no idea what causes whirlpools. So water would be a safe bet, but because of the whirlpool element, I didn't dismiss Wind as the secondary element.

As for why I thought the Wind element came from the Kyuubi comes from the first page of the Manga, which state it's mighty tails could crumble mountains and cause Tsunami's, for me this suggested some very strong wind elements being involved (Though I don't think fast winds cause Tsunami's, but it's what comes to minds), so had it in my head Kyuubi is wind element.

I did reply to Harry.

Minato Namikaze...NAMIKAZE "The Habour of wind and waves." I doubt you would give the man that name and then say "his element is Earth." Plus, think about it, try combining any of the other elements with the Rasengan. (I can't imagine an earth rasengan.) Wasn't it also said that Naruto's chakra is similar to the Minato's? If it was stated, then my conclusion would be they both had wind. Wind also alluding to speed for which Minato was known for.

We can do one better, since it is "wind and waves" perchance he could control both wind and water.

Nothing really states specifically what his element was, but I am confident it was wind seeing all the clues Kishi has for him.

That basically says one of two things.

1. The other's didn't keep good enough records and they possibly could have been wrong about Bee and the 4th Mizukage being the only ones.

or

2. What the Six-paths have been using are not the powers granted by the Bijuu, but more their own powers. Like the confusion people believed Gaara's sand was the work of the One-tail when actually, the sand was his mother's doing.

Well I kinda agree with you, but the person who made the comment was Danzou, and that guy had spy's everywhere, so I would think he had the hosts monitored to know what level of control they had,

As for Gaara. that's tricky, because we've seen the One Tails using sand as his main element when he was free of Gaara's control so it would make sense he could have got the power from the one tails but it also makes sense h got it from his mother...maybe previous hosts were members of the family and it became like a bloodline. I think one of the earlier posts about the Kyuubi being largely Ying and Yang Chakra might be true.

Its never been stated what Minato's element was, I know allot of people thought it was lightning because of the flying THUNDER God, but that's been explained as a name given because how it appears to the outsider. It would be nice if it was confirmed Naruto got the affinity from his parent, apart from looks (And after 500 chapters we find out chakra capacity) he havn't really been told if he's inherited any of his parents abilties....whatever they may be.

Sure. But whirlpools are tornadoes. Tornadoes over water. Once it is around 200 metres away from the water, it goes back to being a normal funnel cloud, provided it survives that long. It's definitely not a safe bet. And do tell how 'Namikaze' suggests water. It doesn't. And the only link he has with water is his mother's clan. Plus with whirlpools not having too much to do with water (since it's water caught up in wind), It's a safe bet that it's WIND. I've been saying he should have air techniques since way back in part one, when I learnt the meaning of Uzumaki. Later, his father's name being 'Minato Namikaze' only strengthened Wind Release being planned all along.

'Nother thing, Tsunami's are caused by earthquakes, not wind. And Mountains being flattened only suggests immense strength. If any, the Kyuubi would most likely have the Fire element.

You are thinking of a waterspout. Whirlpools are actually indeed little swirls in the water and are related to water. Here's a link.

Actually, before I knew that the Whirlpool's village was specialists in seals, I had thought the logo on Naruto's back and their headbands was a symbol of the whirlpools, not seals

Minato's name does not mean "whirlpool." Like I said, his name means "wind and waves." Uzumaki actually means "three-dimensional spiral" which can also be used for "whirlpool" or "Vortex." But Kushina is from the land of Whirlpools, so her chakra affinity being Water has a good merit, though unknown for sure.

Gaara's ability with sand is something he has.. It wasn't granted by the One-tail. His father could control sand too. In fact, he had the ability to control Gold dust. While it is widely believed Gaara's sand ability originated from the One-tail, it was only enhanced by it. It actually originated from his mother's love.

I can't see Minato's affinity being water. It doesn't really suit him. Wind seems more appropriate. At least to me it does.

We do know that affinities can be passed down through families. Sasuke's family all uses fire. The entire Uchiha clan is known to only have the fire affinity as their chakra affinity and we see a lot of of members using it. Itachi, Sasuke, Madara, and so fourth. I can see Kushina's being water and Minato's being wind. Naruto can control both, but wind being his main affinity. The chakra paper he touched confirms it wind. Interestingly, Gaara's is wind too.

When did it ever explicitly say they have fire affinity? Sure, the fact that the Uchiha in general seem to be masters of fire techniques, it doesn't automatically mean that they all have fire affinity. While I can see the link, I don't think it ever showed any Uchiha using chakra paper and showing their fire affinity.

If anything, it's possible Sasuke himself is more lightning aligned, if only because he seems to be more proficient with Lightning manipulation than Fire, but even that's false.

And we don't know enough of either of Naruto's parents to formulate a theory on what their element affinity is, if they ever do have one.

All we know are these:
Minato is a genius, especially with seals and chakra manipulation. He knew enough to create the Flying Thunder God technique (which itself could be an indicator that he may also be Lightning-aligned, but not really). He derived the Rasengan from the Tailed Beast Bomb and left it unfinished.

Kushina is from Whirlpool, also very knowledgeable about seals. Apparently, her use of jutsu and tactics was passed on to Naruto.
We know little about Whirlpool too.

And...that's about it.

Or this whole theory of mine is false and stupid and you can just ignore me and move on. a_thumbs.gif

Maybe not, but still Fire is ALWAYS Uchiha's first element nature.

No, actually. We have no indication of Itachi or Obito's nature but Sasuke's affinity is definitely lightning. Kakashi said that before he taught him the chidori. What we can gather is that the Uchiha specialized in fire techniques since they all use it. In a flashback, it was made clear that they were all taught it when Fugaku was teaching Sasuke and said Itachi learnt much faster than him, which might mean that it's hard for Sasuke since it's not his natural affinity, while it might be Itachi's, as we never saw him use anything else. That's speculative, though. What's for sure is that the Uchiha clan did not all have the fire affinity.

And yes, it's the same flashback. And his father saying all Uchiha must learn it only means it's another thing that holds their clan together, since not all could gain the sharingan. It in no way suggests that they were born with that affinity. It only confirms Sasuke isn't all that suited to it.

Actually Sasuke's main elemental affinity is fire, it is the main affinity of the Uchiha clan. His secondary affinity is lightning.

I think Tax is a bit more accurate. While the chapter linked by Krypt states that the Uchiha trait is based on manipulation of fire, it doesn't mean that Sasuke or any of the other Uchiha have a fire affinity. We've not seen any of them show affinity indication items like the chakra paper. Presumably, like the Rinnegan, the Sharingan aids the wielder in elemental manipulation than ordinary ninja.

They haven't really shown anything as extensive as Naruto's and Asuma's manipulation of wind. Most of the fire techniques we've seen usually consists of shooting fire, which seems to be a basic technique, if draining. His only other major fire manipulation is the use of Amaterasu, which is a default ability of the Sharingan.

Sasuke's main affinity as Lightning shows more merit because of how well and how frequent he uses lightning techniques.

Exactly. And the fact that it was mentioned that Naruto's wind can beat Sasuke's lightning, and fire was only mentioned once Naruto initiated the thing only reinforces it for me.

An 'affinity' does not mean you were able to do it since you were a kid, your whole clan does it or your bloodline assists you in it (Rinnegan). An affinity is the element you are most comfortable using. Judging from his extensive use of lightning and rare use of only basic(by his standards anyway) fire techniques suggests Sasuke's affinity, in fact, is lightning.

Looks to be Water. It's possible earth may be a weaker second element but we haven't seen her actually manipulate earth with her chakra like she has water. Similarly I'd say Tsunade's strongest element is lightning- she used her chakra to manipulate electricity (which is basically finely controlled lightning. We've not seen Sakura manipulate electricity or Tsunade manipulate water with their chakra. Her weaker secondary one may be earth. In the manga it was said ninja upon reaching Chunnin can manipulate at least one element- their primary chakra element nature. Medic ninja don't seem to be have the tendency to be able to manipulate their elements more than close range. Tsunade and Sakura have overcome that by being able to focus their chakra into their hands or feet and use that to create midrange damage to their surroundings.

Sasuke already had two elements by the end of part 1. Interestingly, the Uchiha fire element was his weaker one (remember his struggle to master it and how he felt inferior to Itachi because he mastered it with ease. Itachi's second element wasn't lightning, my guess it was wind. His primary was the typical Uchiha fire manipulation. Sasuke's is lightning, he's quite powerful with it- it appears even moreso than Kakashi.
