SP no,no, no. It seems the manga was better than the anime in putting out Naruto's feeling. Even Sakura's expression has more feeling in the manga.

That seems to be the norm for SP....the expressions are not always as good as the manga, but sometimes they are better....all the confession episodes are well done, and the ones with the most drama, the next episode looks to be better drawn to me..which is great because I'm really looking forward to the Shikamaru episode. :)

The start was very slow, but I liked the part with Hashirama's memories from the first kage meeting. If they ever decide to continue the Naruto franchise, I would like to see more of the other villages and how they interact with each other. 

 

As for Sakura's facial expression, I kind of agree. It's the same basic expression, however the manga version was alot more "emphasized" if that makes sense, especially with how it highlighted her eyes.

Does anyone know how many chapters are put into one episode?

2-3 sometimes even 4 if Kishi gives us a very short chapter or two

This episode dragged on every moment. Mooo-oove, slooow! You know...
They did this to postpone The Five Kage's arrival at the Battlefield.
Shikamaru is dying? I don't think so.
Orochimaru arrived with Suigetsu and Karin at the Battlefield, but he doesn't seem to be interested in the war. Then what role will have in this war?
Hashirama recalls the first Kage Summit.
Some Kages made their debut in this episode: Second Kazekage and Third Mizukage.
I'm very disappointed that we know nothing at all about the previous Kage (Mizukage, Kazekage, Raikage).
First Raikage, Second Raikage, First Mizukage, Third Mizukage, First Kazekage, Third Kazekage, First Tsuchikage. Unfournately, we won't get the chance to know more about the Kages I just named because the manga will end very soon.

But what the hell Hinata is doing here ! My god I can't take it anymore. SP is pissing me off. They are giving too much to this girl ! They are making her look like she was worried were in reality she was not ! They are showing her too much ! In the manga she was barely shown !

 

Also, like always, this episode is lacking intensity and movements...

 

And oh my god they animated so bad that moment when Sasuke is cutting the tree... my god just... can't they animate this better ? It's incredible...

 

Meh... the next one looks to be even worse judging from the preview...

Though considering that they're all cloaked, it must've happened in some form, right?
