I haven't seen it but I know the key points, and yes, I do mean those. But I'm just wondering since time has changed. I mean for Naruto, why skip it. Change the joke to parallel, in a different way. Hey, I remember Gundam couldn't go hardcore until not too long ago. So I wouldn't know.

It has gotten to the point where even heterosexual relationships are becoming taboo. XD

Apparently so. Lol. Media are changing though I don't like the reason for it. Some are making us look like too innocent rather than free for all and just have fun. It's like "Why are you taking a comedy skit too serious if it said so itself." But oh well, what can you do...

I'm skeptical, considering the article is in a language I can't read and the only proof that it says what it says seems to be one person in the comments section.

 

Regardless, I do doubt they're already an established couple in the series. I'll buy that they can be on their way to being one, for sure, but I never got the sense that they were mutually romantically established already.

 

I would be interested in knowing exactly what Isayama said. Maybe he meant he was planning to make them an established couple, which would make more sense given the material that's been covered in the manga so far.

Let me tell you something.
In shonen manga especially the big 3. The closets you will get from the same sex couple is the couple imply to be together.
Shoujo, josei, and seinen have more open about that.

Unless the author give more, I don't think they're canon (yet).
