So guys which are your Favorite Tsundere Characters?

Mine are Asuka Langley Soryu or Shikinami as she is called now from Evangelion and Sakura from well you know Naruto.

Also say why or why not you like/Hate Tsundere characters.

Why I like them is because of the great comic relief moments they give as long as it isn't overdone. (Like in the Naruto anime, that anime team exagerates!)

F**ck yeah Asukaaaaaaa! 111191.gif

Favorite tsunderes? Oh boy too many to name. I'll just type the first that come to my head and in no particular order.

Asuka Langley Soryu - (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Kaname Chidori - (Full Metal Panic!)
Kallen Stadtfeld - (Code Geass)
Hitagi Senjogahara - (Bakemonogatari)
Horo - (Spice & Wolf)
Rukia Kuchiki - (Bleach)
Rin Tohsaka - (Fate/Stay Night)
Kyou Fujibayashi - (Clannad)
Casca - (Berserk)
Sayaka Yumi - (Mazinger Z)
Yui Kotegawa - (To Love Ru)
Mikoto Misaka - (To Aru Majutsu No Index)
Inner Moka - (Rosario + Vampire)
Asuna Kagurazaka (Negima!)
Ayako Kannagi - (Kaze no Stigma)

Lots more but I'd have to look through what I've seen. My two all time favorites will always be Asuka and Chidori.

Asuka's pratically a godess among tsundere's in my opinion, the true embodiment of a devilish red head and I completely Forgot Inner Moka "Learn Your Place!"

Tsundere's = Epic humor/Romance

Asuka is THE original tsundere next to Akane from Ranma ½ but the latter was before my time so she doesn't hold as much valor as compared to Asuka.

She's my favorite character from Evangelion and easily one of the top favorites in all time series.

Yeah Asuka is just FIRE BABY! And then she pilots a 40 storie high machine and has that attitude, seriously how can't you love her, besides she's the perfect balance for Shinji, Asuka is pratically, no not pratically In my opinion the best female Anime Character in a long Time, You don't get Female's with this kind of attitude in just some manga or Anime.

Asuka fanboy for life.

P.S. Is this me or is this thread pretty two-sided?

I know there are more Tsundere lovers out here.

Don't be shy!!!

I absolutely love Tsunderes even if I'm a girl biggrin.gif Can cartoon characters count like Helga from Hey Arnold?

My all-time favorites are Mikoto(Index) and Asuka(Evangelion). My current favorite so far is Alice from Pandora Hearts.

For some reason, I don't like Louise from Zero no Tsukaima(don't hurt me). D: I know I haven't watched the series yet, but when I saw a few clips and pictures of her and Saito, I really think that she was a little bit harsh on Saito. sad.gif

As for my favorite Tsundere guy, my favorite would have to be Otani from Lovely Complex.

She's... crazy harsh actually. In the light novels, Louise whips him (not with a riding crop, but a real whip) until he passes out from the pain, after a previous beating from the night before. That's physical abuse, plain and simple. She gets better about it, but daaaamn

Oh, and on the actual topic, Rin from Fate/Stay Night. I really liked her path in the game biggrin.gif

1 - There's no problem in liking Tsundere's even if you're a girl, they're fictional characters. (Cartoon characters don't count since Tsundere's are a Anime/Manga character archtype)

2 - I won't hurt because of not liking a certain Tsundere and I don't hurt girls! (Ain't I the gentleman;) just kidding)

3 - Tsundere Guy? I was under the Impression that Tsundere's were only female's, Wiki might be needing an update on that page.

I'll have to pick a guy as my favorite tsundere character.. England from Hetalis Axis Powers is soo tsundere, it's adorable XD He is usually so short-tempered around the other nations, but you say one nice remark about his cooking and he gets this huge smile on his face~

Tsundere's nowadays have changed a lot significantly and I can't like most of the popular ones.

We are left with Taiga from Toradora!, Shana from Shakugan no Shana, and of course the infamous Louise from Zero no Tsukaima (no offense to those who like them). The thing that they all have in common is they've turned into lolis....flat chested girls with high leg stockings...and are all voiced by THE REI. Of course there are gems like Horo, Hitagi, and Misaka but you just can't beat the originals.

Lolis and moe are the cancer killing anime today. sad.gif

Tsundere is just a term to describe a type of a character archetype.

Since most tsunderes are female characters... this has led the term "tsundere" to be usually associated with females. It's just like "harem". Most harems are about multiple females. But there can be male harems as well.

It's just that the male versions need the qualifier ('male') when being talked about.

That's cause the "definition" of tsundere has changed over time. More tsuntsun characters are getting (incorrectly to some) labeled as tsundere.

This is also true.

K-On! is nothing but a moe-bomb and it's hugely successful... which makes me extremely sad.

--------

Oh, and all (or at least most) of my favorite characters are tsunderes.

My favorites would be Kyou (Clannad) and Tohsaka (Fate/Stay Night)... Asuka (Evangelion) would be third. Satsuki (Ichigo 100%) is also one of my favorite characters... she started off with a tsundere personality... but sadly she didn't keep it through the story.

My number one favorite of all time is Sakura.

Since, she is the most tamest out of all the Tsundere characters I like.

My second one would have to Bulma, from Dragon ball. I also like her, because she can kick some male hide if she wanted to. She is not a dismal in distress which I like too.
