100%!!! omg American media outlets were all over them this week  :love: They worked so hard for it sobs

 

I heard the PPAP guy was under YG, or something? But they are both so catchy 

 

I looked it up & it says he's under SM Ent., but when I looked into their website, he's wasn't listed under there! Probs just in the video for the luls. Psy is under YG tho.

The cheers were really overwhelming in contrast to girls generation who had no cheers. Its heartwarming.

I never knew bottles could be that big. That guy is a walking meme and I love that. 

 

I think they are like the first Korean group that got that award which is kinda unreal. I never knew they were that popular when I watched their fans going crazy when they arrive at airports around the world its unreal. Its kinda weird cause I am so used to see hollywood stars making that kind of impression that seeing other ethnicities being that popular is somewhat refreshing...

 

As a guy, I am more familiar (still new to it) with the women group such as SNSD (obviously), AOA, and Blackpink.

 

So I am not that familiar with BTS but I am starting get into the men little by little (not sexually of course). Tonight by Big Bang is one my favorite... Its so catchy and I love Las vegas.

 

Maybe they were not used to see a foreign group winning an award or Kpop was not as popular four years ago. The former member Jessica really impressed me with her MV Fly. She is really talented.

They are another type of masculine figure. They look effeminate but still strong, cool, and unique. They are bishonen looking but it was never rare in my experience to see women being attracted to this these types. However, they also mix rap and gangster outfits and it creates a rather unique type I mean they are like these cheesy boy bands that were sorta popular in the 90's except that the Koreans are able to make something that looks ridiculous work by embracing it and producing catchy music and mixing totally opposite fashion trends and it works.. Kpop fully assumes its cheesiness and can be very upbeat. I personally think Kpop and Jpop are more inspired in terms of creativity in their music videos than americans .
