I guess, even though NS got all the usual formula that makes it canon. Look, we shouldn't even be discussing this. It's extremely clear that it wasn't planned when the movie couldn't do it right.he's been playing with the pairings for years.

That's why Kikitten sucks. Because he plays with romance. I'm sure even NH/SS tards would agree with me as they had to endure the NaruSaku "red herring" for years instead of getting proper development for their pairings.

I think he was more tire and fed up with Naruto than money. I'm sure when Yahagi left his side due to a promotion, I think motivation also went out the door. And that's when we have all this lackluster and inconsistency after the Pain Arc and not to mention many ass pulls. It seem to me as if Kishi never wanted to work with anyone else except Yahagi.I don't know...if he did, why create the parallels? (I will never believe the misleading bs) he kept on, to me, it was more money than actually staying in the plot
It's to my beleive according to the Jump Festa interview that Kishi was not aware of The Last and Pt3 until late 2013 or early parts of 2014 and Kishi was happy to go along with it because he wanted out.
The Red Herring comments is just an excuse to cover up the true reason why the manga ended horridly, which will come back to hunt him one day when Naruto has finally been death with.

I really don't even consider that fangirling. All Sakura really did was say Sasuke's name since he was the first one to show up. It's not like Sakura didn't acknowledge Naruto after saying that she would steal the Hokage spot from him.
Fangirling is too strong of a word, but I guess at this point it's just become an all encompassing umbrella term.

ss has been on life support for years, because sakura's love for sasuke was stubborn to the very end. naruto has heart- to-heart conversations with despicable people like obito, so why couldn't he politely reject hinata? there were plenty of opportunities to do it.
