So, this was all an asspull, right? It is obvious Naruto never loved Hinata before, but did Sasuke's thank you in the past mean he loved Sakura? Or did he just randomly fall in love with her this chapter? I am so confused...I swore he saw Sakura as an annoying sister or something because of the way he picked on her calling her annoying and how he didn't want her in his business. Either this is an asspull, or I misunderstood Sasuke the whole time.

Yeah, this was definitely an asspull. Anyone who says otherwise has no idea about logic, common sense, or consistency, let alone basic storytelling.

I am literally really upset at this.

I was in a very abusive relationship that I had to flee and file police reports to get out of. The guy was hitting me and choking me and I thought if I just stuck around with it things would get better and it almost killed me.

To see Kishimoto reinforcing this mindset is utterly devastating to me. Like...I am literally emotionally distraught right now because it's so kittening disturbing to me. I liked NaruSaku because it was a story of a girl making the right choice for the right reasons and ending up with someone that truly loved her int he end but I guess Domestic Violence > Love.

I just want to know what went through his mind cause the last two chapters were just crazy like what even. Didn't Garaa have a different hair style in The Last character designs? I know this wasn't The Last, but that hair gave me the shivers.

I've been a fan for 10 years.... I was devastated last night. I WAS A MESS. Crying and kitten. It was when I realized that this ending is pure bullsh** and utterly horrible that I'm feeling better.

 

Agreed. This may sound a little stupid, but it feels good to know that it isn't just myself or a small group of people that are dissatisfied with the ending. Kishi's getting a pretty blanket disapproval for his blanket solution.
