Yep, the part whre it needs to overtake is SS, NH is pretty much confirmed that it wasnt an obstacle like people thought it was, Naruto confirmed his feelings for Sakura but also Sakura confirmed her feelings for Sasuke, which we all go back to were it began, so all the NH mislead was just a troll, i'm happy with the parallel that Minato confirmed which is a good hint of NS canon in the end we have to see how will be NS development from now on.

NH is dead and can only be revived if SS happens., Minato sunk their ship.

This is one of the things that really has just soured Sakura for me. She's supposed to be a medic! You know, treat people? Instead she not only lashes out at Naruto, but she lashes out at her patients. And where is the comparison between Kushina and Minato? There has never been a mention that Kushina ever struck Minato (although it's true that she did hit Naruto).

I mean c'mon. Sasuke is a traitor, has killed shinobi among the allied nations, brought Konoha to the point where they can be held accountable for his crimes...and she still calls him '-kun'. Get some reality girl, and maybe grow up a bit.

But the thing that just really makes my dread level rise is when it comes to her relationship with Naruto. I'm not 'bashing', just listing my reasons.

Key point:

Naruto treasures his friends. Those who are his 'precious people'.

Sakura doesn't. She almost seems incapable of understanding how anyone else than herself thinks.

Points:

* She breaks her friendship with Ino. Everyone says that it's so that she can grow as a person. Are you honestly telling me there was no other way?
* She never bothers to truly understand Naruto...it's all Sasuke and the hope that if she defers to him enough he'll notice her. In fact the first revelation by someone looking deeper into Naruto, beneath the surface is by Hinata in chapter 96.
* She offers to betray the village to go with Sasuke to go with him. Did she ever think about her friends? Nope. She just basically flipped everyone off and offered to follow a selfish backstabber to go with him to the greatest villain the village knew since Madara.
* When she does her 'confession' (one of the most sickening events of the manga because of how false it is - I mean c'mon, everyone around her when she 'confesses' looks at her as if she's a lepper) it's for her own reasons. She doesn't even stop to consider that Naruto might have his own reasons for wanting Sasuke back, and that her trying to release him from his promise doesn't matter.
* When she goes to track Sasuke post-'confession', she knocks out her comrades and leaves them there. Now this might seem like nothing...except that she leaves them in a country that none of them know. Near to where Sasuke is. Who is aligned with Akatsuki. And not knowing if there are other Akatsuki members in the area who could easily kill off the other Konoha members.
* She thinks that by killing Sasuke it'll make everything right. Does she even understand the relationship between the two of them? She's been the closest to the two of them and she STILL doesn't understand that? I'm currently banging my head against the table in frustration and in the hopes that I'll wake up in a world where this manga actually contains something that resembles something like sense.

As far as points against her, these are pretty huge when you think about how central to Naruto's core values friendships and bonds are. There is no logic to the relationship when she portrays character traits that are so fundamentally contradictary to Naruto's driving beliefs. The relationship has NO logic.

As for the latest manga, it's obviously a comedic reference only especially given Minato's sudden appearance and the (horribly compared) reference between NaruSaku and MinaKushi. Kushina has a temper, but we never saw her hit Minato. Sakura is a domestic violence case just waiting to happen. And I know I'll get the whole "it's a cliche manga thing" argument, but there's a difference between hitting someone because it's funny and then crossing the line when you're supposed to be a medic and you HIT YOUR PATIENTS.

It's clear Sakura still has feelings for Sasuke. Anyone who watched Road To Ninja could tell that...I mean one of the first things she does is run to him and squeal and coo at him again.

And she still calls him 'Sasuke-kun'. After everything. It's truly cringeworthy. But I actually think the fact that she hasn't remained a fan-girl (though that case is still before the jury given her devotion to him) works in her favor. The last thing he wants is a drooling obsequious fool to be his girlfriend.

At this point it could go either way, but I just can't bring myself to cheer NaruSaku. I might go NaruHina, just so I don't have to hate myself for cheering for something so fundamentally flawed as NaruSaku. Or if that doesn't work, now that there's no chance of NejiTen (one of the great travesties of the manga), maybe I'll start cheering NaruTen.

Anyway, this is pretty much me burning my bridges to anything connected with Sakura. I've had enough of such a horribly constructed character. I could forgive her if she actually was mean, but she hides behind this pretense of goodness that has just made me want nothing more to do with her. She's so horribly flawed that people who use her flaws to champion her character just leave me feeling cold. When I see her in the manga now, I shudder.

So this is me saying Ave, atque, vale 'So long, farewell, goodbye'.
