I never really had a problem with love triangles before, but after the kitten that happened recently i'm just like no that's the very last thing I need. I have alot of faith in Kohei, but I swear if that happens then okay japan here I come. Love triangles at this point are like the biggest disease for anime and manga, reason why I'm not saying novels is cause I know the authors are smart in the decisions they make. 

 

 That's exactly what I told my best friend, if we get that emotional heart wrenching moment between Deku and Ochako say he's on the verge of death and she cries her heart out in hoping he survives. Then I'll be like okay you've got me, but at this point OchaDeku shippers need to just be patient I mean ugh..... I hate being reminded of this but the promise of a lifetime between Naruto and Sakura it took me that long to say okay now I'm on board the NS club.

Yup it was that moment and I knew from there like wow I feel a lot better that so call void has vanished, and hopefully it never returns. Toukn is just to perfect to say yeah it won't happen. I had the same impresion as you did when it came to chapter 10 and 11 of re. Plus I feel like chapter 12 you know why I say that will reinforce that idea when they read that chapter. Whenever it comes out.

Love triangles can kill a franchise if they are executed poorly as we've seen in Naruto. I don't want the same fate to fall on Boku no Hero. It's better for both sides: The author can put all his effort into building up OchaDeku, and the fandom will not divide b/c of something so stupid as pairing wars. Look at Touken or Yatori. Works perfectly fine w/out any.

I hope a moment like this will show up b/w Deku and Ochako. I feel like this scene from Ochako from Ch.22 was an important development b/w the two of them- even if it was just from Deku's side. So far, I only remember Ochako only blushing once so far at Deku though. We gotta see more from Ochako if this ship will sail.

Oh, that POAL will always be one of my favorite moments, not just NS, but in Naruto in general.

You sounded so excited when you reached Ch.71, I still remember. Back then, I already knew of that moment and loved it, but I never thought that it would win so many people over.

Oh, btw, I already know that my little brother won't give a damn about shipping. If he starts TG, I already know that he won't be shipping anyone in there. But I bet that he sees the potential in Touken. He's a pretty rational manga reader which is why he also steadfast believed NaruSaku would become cannon.

Oh yeah defeintly and I know people will get butthurt when I say this, but I think JK Rowling  did a good job, not a great, at having the love triangles in Harry Potter.  I really feel like whoever Harry gets with between Hermoine and Ginny doesn't matter to me. I feel like the development between both pairings were excellent. So if Kohei goes that route with any potential love triangles that's what ends up happening. Hopefully this becomes like a FMA or Rave Master scenario  where it's only 1 pairing and none of this pairing wars BS again. I just want a manga that doesn't deal with any of that kitten and hopefully Kohei delivers on that with Boku No Hero.

I really was happy about the moment in chapter 71 not because of oh it's just a Touken moment, but the sudden change in Kaneki was jsust striking to me. I remember I was sitting at there for five minutes going like did Kaneki really just do that like Woah it was crazy, and it still is when I go back in reread that chapter.


Your brother's got my respects for sure based on what you've mentioned. He sounds like a chill guy to talk about with anime that isn't pairing related.

Yeah, with Ch.71 it was really bye bye Kuroneki and welcome Shironeki. Back then it was always Touka who rescued him, but now it was the other way around (reminds me of Ch.50 of AoT with Eremika).

I was a little bit confused though about the end of Ch.71. I was initially under the impression that Touka's line "Don't leave me" was in here head, but apparently she said it out loud b/c Kaneki responded to it afterwards.

Yeah, that's what my brother pretty much is. He's like my best friend XD I can talk with him about everything, and we mostly agree on animes and mangas. As for the Naruto ending, he was just one of those individuals who didn't care about it anymore. He knew the ending was flawed though. And he was pretty disappointed with the final battle b/w Naruto and Sasuke.

Oh yeah I totally agree it is still kinda early to say, and like I said before there needs to be big impactful moment for me to say yeah OchaDeku definitely has a chance cause right now there are just little moments of them which is cool. However it's always the impactful ones that say yeah this is the way to go, and Horikoshi hopefully delivers on that not alone. 

 

I do too and I've seen many people compare her hair style to Rin which I could see, but there is a different uniqueness to it. Plus her hair kinda fits her personality if that makes any sense. 

 

You know the funny thing is I got my cousin Ria into reading this manga just because it's so easy, and it took her maybe 2 days just because of there isn't that many chapters at the moment, but she's thinking about drawing a OchaDeku drawing because like how it was for NH and SS, she ships them because of appearance wise. Though she did tell me that if there is an impactful moment between them then she'll join onboard the ship, but at the moment she's still kinda hesitant as far as plot purposes and character development goes. Unlike me who's just waiting for the moment to jump onboard and say okay I'm in.

A Top 5 moments for the entire Naruto series would take a while to do, but to correct you. I said I would be doing Th Top 5 Naruto Moments in 2014. Though A Top 5 Moments in Naruto (The Whole Series) doesn't sound like a bad idea either. That might become like my end of the year video considering how I'm making the top 5 naruto moments in 2014 video first.

Btw, I remember you saying how you were thinking about reading part 3 a while back? Do you still feel the same way about it? Honestly when it comes to me I'm just gonna give the 1st chapter of Part 3 a first impressions video and then make my judgment call there about either continuing to read it or just say screw it. Most likely for me it's gonna be screw reading Part 3, but I guess 1 chapter shouldn't hurt. Even if it's from Kishi (of all people)

Yeah I got a bit confused about it myself until I reread it a few times more times and got the full jest behind what the chapter was portraying. Ria came up with a funny theory and said "You know how funny it would be if Ishida based TouKen off of NaruSaku?" and i'll be honest that made me laugh because then the whole anime community would probably flip out if that's what happened. 

Lol I think most people were disappointed with how the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke turned out. I was always saying this, but that fight and the whole Kaguya situation should've took 2 volumes. Basically Volume 71 and 72 are dedicated to Kaguya and then Volumes 73 and 74 are dedicated to Naruto Vs Sasuke. The pacing could've been a lot smoother, but we didn't go that route which again was pretty disappointing to say the least.

Sounds quite right to me actually, and honestly the wait for the next chapter will kill us, however I know it'll be worth it. Would I be disappointed if Deku doesn't win sure, but if it's for a logical reason like you mentioned with Bakugo holding him back and getting into another fight. You know what i like about Kohei Horikoishi way of developing Izuku and Bakugo's rivalry is that it just seems more natural and smooth which is something I like. They've had their fight  in less 2 volumes as oppose to Naruto and Sasuke which took 27 Volumes and 45 volumes for their final fight. When it came to Kishi of course he just kept building the fight like crazy throughout Part 1 which was good in that time, but for Part 2 I was like Dude just let the two rivals have their final fight to the death stop teasing it every time they meet up, cough cough Five Kage Summit Arc  they should've  had their fight and rip out Tobi's declaration of war none sense I'm just saying. It would've saved the series a lot personally, but I digress.
 
  The villains will probably show up unless Kohei holds them off which will be pretty interesting if he goes that route. 
 
 

 
That's about the same for me, the only reason why I'm still reading Bleach is because the series is in it's final arc, and it's actually got a well organized pacing structure to it obviously. It's true though as much as I love Oda he did state that One Piece will probably go on for at least 10+ years and  I'm like well okay then. About 15 years, and the crazy thing is Everything in One Piece pre-timeskip lasted for  60 Volumes which is crazy. You would think by that point okay the series is reaching it's end, but to hear it's only touched halfway point that's just insane. honestly if wouldn't be surprised if One Piece ends at Volume 120 given that Volume 60 is where pre-timeskip ended. Bringing the subject to Boku no Hero Academia I would saw probably 20 or 30 Volumes would be a good number . Which i guess would take 6-7 years like you said, and honestly I'd be okay with that..

I'm about the same way too, although when it comes to Bleach, FMA, and DBZ I prefer hearing listening to the English Dub. the Japanese dub and English dub for AOT is pretty good on both ends when it comes to me so I can handle listening to both.
Wow the anime for AOT apparently has some pretty well done voice actors that I didn't know about... I guess more bonus points for making the anime even more great.

 
 
It was interesting to read Kohei's thoughts into creating the characters. I actually love what her name means because it really fits her personality. Yup Kohei wants to draw Ochako next to Deku a lot. I know the shippers are gonna go crazy when they read that particular info. I'll be honest though I do get that impression from him though.

My really think OchaDeku is a good name for the ship. My best friend is already on the train for the Deku and Ochako  OTP and I'm like dude it's still kinda early to say yes the moments are there, but there needs to be more substance. It's like having ramen without having spice too it. Although it's funny because he told me that I made TouKen my new OTP, but there was that moment, you know which one I'm talking about, which told me go okay I can actually see this happening. There needs to be some kind of moment like that for Deku and Ochako for me to say "Alright I'm in."

  

At this point, it is very clear that Jump wants to milk OP for all its worth. They don't care about the plot. Quite honestly, I never saw the point of introducing the WG and "Will of D" subplot if it doesn't have anything to do with Luffy's goal and ambitions. In FT, it's the total opposite, whereas finding Igneel is tied directly into Zeref and Acnologia. Unlike Oda, I feel Mashima has a better vision of what he wants out of his story. Also, next year FT is on its 10th year anniversary. Judging by how the plot is going, I think FT will end at the end of next year to mid-2017.

A good length for a long-running series to me, is around 10-12 years. So long as BokuHero doesn't pass that benchmark, I'd be fine with its length.

I heard about it and was shocked to hear the One Piece could go on for more than 10+ yrs... The only other manga I see running even longer is Case Closed, which is a complete different situation- although I want both mangas to end.
Yup, if Boku no Hero Academia lasts around that long, there is a higher possibility that fans won't fall in and out with a manga. I just personally believe that dragging a story out is unnecessary and causes people to loose sight of what the main purpose/goal of the manga actually is.
Pls don't intruduce a love triangle, Horikoshi, otherwise I'm gonna flip a table. I'm S-I-C-K of love triangles.
OchaDeku here, too, b/c when I pronounce it sounds more fluent. All I'm gonna say is to OchaDeku shippers, put on the brakes and be patient for something to happen in the manga that really had a great impact in their relationship.

So for you it was that moment in the sig that caught your interest in Touken. How beneficial was it that the last :re chapters you were reading were ending with Ch.9 and Ch.10 I thought somehow that it was the perfect moment for newcomers to jump in b/c those two chapters are gonna be freshly engraved into everyone's minds. Everyone probably had them feels when reading that handkerchief moment in Ch.10.

Like I've said before, if there is ever a love triangle, I think it'd be played off more for laughs. So far, a potential love triangle would be between Frog Girl-Deku-Ochappi. And even then, the former would most likely just troll the hell out of the latter two. Mainly for amusement. But I also wouldn't put it past Tsuyu doing it on purpose to get those two to be honest with each other. Basically I could see an "I want my beloved to be happy" from Tsuyu.

I'll read Part 3. It would hurt to see NH and SS moments, but I'll try my best to disregard those feelings. I have a genuine interest in this new generation and would like to see how Kishi wants to justify this sh*tty future we have in Part 3. I want to witness how he fails at pulling of a convincible spinoff series.

I'm still laughing how five chapters with some evangelion looking like Susanno and Kyuubi updates did not give us a fulfilling fight. Tbh, I wished Kishi would have completely skipped Kaguya's fight and focused on Madara instead T_T

Speaking of nicknames for pairings: The entire time I thought that Touken was made up of Touka and Kaneki's last name. Just recently I found out that the shipping name represents both character's first name. I still can't believe that the fans primarily call the main character by the last name, lol. Don't get me wrong, I like Kaneki a lot more, too.

If he turns out be the big villain behind Dr. Hands and co. it's just a theory I came up with on the spot, but that would be crazy like woah did that really just happen? Imagine if there came a point in the manga where Deku had to face his own father on some Zuko vs Ozai type of kitten damn I don't even wanna think about Horikoshi taking Boku No hero going into that territory. Though I would say it would be interesting to see, I'll give my theory that much credit  .

It's all good, I tried recording it a few times and I kept messing up so odds are I'll probably have it up some time tomorrow morning or evening.

Tell me about it, if Kishi actually has a story to tell with the new generation I would honestly be shocked as hell. It's gonna quite interesting see him pull this off because honestly I expect him to try and fail with Part 3.

hand to hand combat should've been the way to go similar to how Storm 3 displayed their fight in the game at the five kage summit, we've had this discussion before, but we both can agree the fight in that game was a lot better than what Kishi gave us in five chapters. When you have a video game out beating the mangaka's take on the fight you know something is wrong.
I really don't believe that ships shouldn't represent from character's first name. I honestly think TouKen sounds like great ship name. Even the one we came up with Izaku X Ochako, OchaDeku that name sounds cool and it's using the main character's nickname. So that's my thoughts when it comes pairing names. I also like Kaneki a lot more too.

It's all good, I tried recording it a few times and I kept messing up so odds are I'll probably have it up some time tomorrow morning or evening.

Tell me about it, if Kishi actually has a story to tell with the new generation I would honestly be shocked as hell. It's gonna quite interesting see him pull this off because honestly I expect him to try and fail with Part 3.

Lol if that happens every anime fan would loose their mind. I'll just keep this little theory in the back of my mind for the time being.

hand to hand combat should've been the way to go similar to how Storm 3 displayed their fight in the game at the five kage summit, we've had this discussion before, but we both can agree the fight in that game was a lot better than what Kishi gave us in five chapters. When you have a video game out beating the mangaka's take on the fight you know something is wrong.
I really don't believe that ships shouldn't represent from character's first name. I honestly think TouKen sounds like great ship name. Even the one we came up with Izaku X Ochako, OchaDeku that name sounds cool and it's using the main character's nickname. So that's my thoughts when it comes pairing names. I also like Kaneki a lot more too.

I think it's obvious that Deku's father will play a large role later on, possibly even that of a villain that Deku might have to battle. And then we'll get some kind Luke vs Darth Vader "I am your father" revelation scene.  I like your theories ^_^ Keep in mind though that his quirk is "breathing fire"- NaruISaku said that it might be something dragon related. Could really be. Maybe Deku actually did inherit a quirk which he just has not activated so far.

II also don't understand that Boruto Movie- this movie is bound to be a horrible sequel.

I remember that fight scene form the PS3. I showed it to my brother and he was like:" Let me text my friend so that I can tell him about it." Lol, that's his way of saying how great the PS3 fight was.

I really like Touken, but his first name Ken on its own is so weird. I can't remember the last time I've called a main character only by his last name, lol. Was there a reason for Ishida to focus on the last name so much?

You know that never crossed my mind until now, what the hell is Deku's father up to like seriously? I haven't been this curious about a main chatacter's fathers whereabouts since Eren Yeagar. If he turns out be the big villain behind Dr. Hands and co. it's just a theory I came up with on the spot, but that would be crazy like woah did that really just happen? Imagine if there came a point in the manga where Deku had to face his own father on some Zuko vs Ozai type of kitten damn I don't even wanna think about Horikoshi taking Boku No hero going into that territory. Though I would say it would be interesting to see, I'll give my theory that much credit  .

I'm just waiting for the new chapter. Pairing-wise well I've already have my guess and preference but as already stated too early to say for certain.

If I hear the exact same words from that scene from The Empire Strikes Back then I'm gonna say Copy and Paste From Star Wars ^_^  The Theories with this manga are so real you can take them in many different direction, and but it all depends on how Horikoshi delivers because only he knows where his story is going.

They said The Last was Naruto's final movie, and then hey here is a movie about Boruto (Bolt). I mean it's not bad to have a new protagonist I guess, but what's gonna be the plot? Like I might be a better story then The Last, but that's just me guessing. I mean it does sound like a bad sequel.

You know, I hope to get to hear soon what Deku thinks of his father. He might not remember anything though since he seemingly left the family already with 4 yrs old.

Are you never going to touch the games again? In particular the one with the fight we've been talking about? Your cousin is absolutely right. Everything would have been easier if he had just used this wonderful example.

Great job with the video. I agree with pretty most of what you've said, but maybe in a different order. My Top 5 moments of 2014 (one being the best/ highest):

1. Ch.663: I love this chapter and couldn't get it out of my head for weeks. Totally unexpected to see to what lengths Sakura and Karin would go to save their men. Everyone in this moment applauded or at least recognized Sakura's efforts. Like you said, every week we would ask ourselves what would happen to Naruto, and this was pretty much the climax during Naruto's and Sasuke's absence.

2. Sasuke's betrayal: We both knew this would happen. We both knew that Kishi could have not ended the manga w/out a Naruto vs Sasuke fight. I was waiting eagerly to see Sasuke's true ambitions and boy was the face he made creepy. Granted, his ideals were stupid and not applicable, but his resolve to kill Naruto heightened things up a lot.

3. Ch. 697 as a whole:I can't complain about this chapter b/c THIS was the kind of fight we all wanted to see. Pure handcombat, full of intensity, and the reveal that Sakura had always known what special bond the two of them used to have.

4. Obito's reunion with Rin: You pointed out Obito's death with the same ranking. While I also agree that the death was very emotional, I knew that his death was inevitable. It didn't surprise me that much. When I saw Rin, however, oh boy, them feels (I really like Rin). Maybe you remember this, but I once told you that I love the young Obito. The scenery in which Rin forgave Obito's sins genuinely touched me.
5. Guy's moment: Now this moment would have been in the 4th place if Kishi hadn't failed to execute the fight properly. I mean, we all thought that introducing us to a flashback with Guy's father (which I personally don't think was necessary) to prepare us for Guy's death. And Kishi trolled us again! But nevertheless, eight gates was cool as kitten and deserved to be in the top 5.

EDIT: I was thinking about whether I should include Naruto's talk with the Sage of 6th path, but ultimately, I enjoyed Guy's fight more. Also, I wanted to include Naruto's Sexy no Jutsu just b/c of the nostalgia, but decided to leave it b/c it was kind of inappropriate for a Top 5 moments

I mean we did get to see a little bit of Dr. Hands talking with his master after the whole feild trip invasion arc. I gotta say All Might's comment at the end of Chapter 25 made me laugh when he was like "Did he really just do that, or was it coincidence?".  He's the perfect comedian, but also the perfect hero if that makes any sense.

I wonder if Junko will actually voice Naruto. It's total BS for her to voice Boruto again in my opinion. This will only give of the greater impression that Boruto is Naruto 2.0- which is robs Boruto of any unique traits. I hope it is true that she won't voice Boruto. Yeah we'll just have to wait and see what happens once chapter 26 comes out, and like you said something is bound to happen. It seems too good to be true that everything will go as smooth as planned, unless Horikoshi wants use to think something will happen when really nothing is going to happen.

I hope that's not the case too. I want Boruto to have his own uniqueness to him. If Junko voices him then like you said it would take away the uniqueness. Oddly enough Ria has theory for Bolt like say one of his friends go rogue, but unlike Naruto, Boruto only tries to talk sense into that friend once and if he/she refuses then he would do whatever it takes to take him/her done. She also came up with the name BoruSara for two obvious characters, and she then said "Could you imagine if there isn't any side pairings going on in Part 3." and I was like "That's a good theory Ria, but let's just wait and see we both Kishi is not to be trusted after everything that's happened in these past 2 months." and she agreed with me and told me "True." One thing I gotta agree with her is above everyone in the new generation Sarada actually looks the best from them. 

Considering I started with Naruto it's mostly of that fanbase. The Bleach,SAO, and Fairy Tail subscribers actually started coming near the end of Naruto's countdown.
