Naruto is going to die/appear dead. Calling it now. It's set in stone now. He has to die for the emotional peak to be reached.

As for Sakura's actions, she is a medic after all. Don't get too excited guys. But one thing I do love, she isn't crying her eyes out. Instead, she's doing exactly what Naruto would do: refusing to give up. Strong woman indeed.

I didn't expect this chapter to be so explicit, but I'm amazed at the outcome. It really shows how far Sakura is willing to go for Naruto.

 

I wonder how Kishimoto's own personal life is reflected in this chapter. Granted, this was probably planned several months or even years before we saw it, but still.

 

The thing I don't understand is how Karin managed to survive being stabbed like that when it killed Neji almost instantly.

I'm way too pissed off to enjoy bad ass Karin, or amazing medic Sakura, or have a fake dramatic meltdown over the fact that Naruto and Sasuke both seem to be dead.  Unless we find out that Kurama's plan is rubbish, it looks Minato essentially killed Kushina.  Not happy (and I don't "ship" MinaKushi).

Okay... So Kishi broke his own rule with the sealing of the other half thing... And Karin is suddenly haxxed out and can save herself when she's stabbed through her chest multiple places (why couldn't she do that when Sasuke stabbed her? well, this is Kishi so I'm not surprised)...

That said the thing that surprised me the most about this chapter was this part :

Fast but hype worthy chapter

Okay, so the Kyuubi thing doesn't make sense in terms of what's been set up, but it's really the only thing that would make sense. As for Karin, well that was freaky... hey maybe she'll finally have a more unique moveset in the next Ultimate Ninja Storm game XD.

Anyone else find this sweet? I mean she's showing her best way of caring possible. And I'm glad she's not just sobbing her eyes out, but actually doing something.

Also...Karin's chakra chains! The same as Kushina's! I guess the chains are an Uzumaki thing. Uzumaki female thing? inb4 Karin is Naruto's sister.
