Chapter 311 is finally out.

Oh, thank God. The Ant arc is going to end soon, since the King is going to die from the poison of the Rose bomb. Hopefully, the focus will go back to the main characters after this. Kurapika hasn't been directly involved in the plot for a long while, and poor Leorio still hasn't gotten to be the focus of an arc. Since he's a doctor, he can fix Gon's body, and be the focus that way.

I am thankful he's back, but his reasons for taking such long breaks are actually unknown. Only his first leave, way back in 2003 or so, for was illness. His last three or so breaks weren't sick leave. We don't know why he was gone. The only thing that's been stated is "Creative Reasons." There's a bunch of rumors regarding why he's absent so often, from being sick, to disagreeing with the editors of Shonen Jump, to even being obsessed with Dragon Quest.
