I completely understand the need to protect their formula...but that's way overboard. It's like they're worried someone is going to hire ninja assasins to kill the CEO and steal the formula. Just keep it in a safe that only the CEO will know about, and have him take it if it needs to be moved.
I think KFC is really overated. The few meals I had from there tasted like they hired a chicken vampire to suck it's juices and leave me with some dried spam. I want to drive by the next time they move the recipe and shout "HEY!!! YOUR FORMULA SUCKS!!!!"

I don't understand why most of you can't believe the extremes they're going through. Nate, BlackLightning, and whoever else agreed with them is perfectly right.
Sure, to us it's just chicken. It's just ~$1 for each piece. But to them... that single piece of paper is in actuality a huge amount of money. You don't see companies like Coca Cola flaunting their secret recipe around either.
Kodachi... if you had a few billion dollars in your hands... would you "Just keep it in a safe"? That formula is worth even more since it continues to earn them millions every year.

For that I agree. Yes, it is an extreme to put a recipe in tighten security ala Secret Service, but it's worth it since the recipe earn the fast food restaurant millions of dollars.
