Despite full of retcon and contradiction, the last is Canon because it got Kishi aprovval. I don't think Kishi write the last.

After the last flopped I recall kishimoto being very wishy-washy about whether it was canon or not or more accurately; how canon was it? Did nH happen? Yes, did everything in the last happen? "eh maybe not."

 

Anyways them showing them in the last outfit probably wasn't just to spite kishi, but anyone that question the last. To the fanatic at SP, The Last was their moment of glory not only was the pairing they always wanted finally happening, but the get to decided everything about it. Then it flopped hard enough that it almost completely destroyed the IP. Then for the rest of Naruto they had to walk on eggshells half the time, and for Boruto they had to adapt kishimoto's mutilation of their pairing. Now that they passed the chunin exam they are free again to show nH in all its perfection.

The Kishi approval is what make it Canon. And the Canon status is what make the movie bad for they retcon many thing from Naruto know kagebushin to Naruto love = ramen.

Unless Kishi himself decanonize it, the last is still a Canon Naruto movie.

I feel as though they just give all these super moves and powers to Boruto while Naruto actually had to work for it. Like Boruto have a random new eye power that no one has ever seen before.

Bolt question this but does so, and then Naruto adds his own chakra to the move. Then we see a flashback images of Naruto's life........wait is bolt seeing this kitten as well!? Is that guy at the bottom Neji? Oh my god I thought they wanted us to forget about him! On second thought all the character is still look very poor in quality. And the two finally connect through a big heavy ball of energy.

 

And then the effeminate one decides to make it a kitten measuring competition with his own big heavy ball of energy. Sasuke does the switch place ability again to get behind him to distract him. Bolt fires the rasengan defeating him."

 

They are almost done with the rehash. Also yes but no. It pretty much the same thing Bolt tricks the enemy into thinking the attack misses when it turns out it hits. But instead of using the teleport ability Bolt throws the rasengan and it disappears right before it hits him, then it hit him. Yes it stupid.

That eye power you mention .... is called Jougan  

 

I said this before i for one never really like the idea or concept about eye power. In reality , eye is one of the most vulnerable spot in human body. Making power that comes out from the eye .... sigh , i never like it from the very first. Why something so soft and vulnerable can produce something so powerful that can level and destroy an entire country ? for me that doesn't make sense.

 

I know right !? Boruto get the same treatment Sasuke get , getting power up with so little to none training. He literally can make Oodama (big colossal) rasengan with help of few ghost .

So the original name is "THE DISAPPEARING RASENGAN" , but the anime studio said that name is too lame it's like a kid gone missing. So they change it to vanishing rasengan , sound more cooler right?  

By the way i tried read your boruto manga summary (really appreciated for the effort and time you put into it) but when i done reading it , 5 seconds latter i already forget the entire thing. It's really hard to make space in my brain to remember something that i really hate and despise.

That doesn't surprise me. It has been over a years since the anime started. Boruto was sold on its international appeal. That nH is what the international fanbase wanted, and if they did that it would restore the franchise back to what it was in it prime; if not more. With how the anime has done in Japan (let alone the entire franchise): low ratings, constantly changing time-slots, I would imagine low DVD sales, and probably unable to appeal to the younger generation. I imagine that executives throughout several companies have long since had it, and it is now time for Boruto to put up or shut up.

 

So, who cares if Shippuden is not done? They need to start selling Boruto now! Especially in the country that originally cause Naruto to explode into the international seller it once was, and the place they said that had all those nH fans that would support Boruto.

I can't imagine how disinterested most of the voice actors will be; especially when they get to the rehashing of the movie if they don't already know it yet. From what I recall, a lot of VAs have gotten tired of Naruto for one reason or another by this point. I doubt they want to spend more years doing Naruto all over again except with no clear goal to root for, and daddy issues.

They need to bring back One Piece, so it can get back the former glory and kicked Boruto out until Shippuden ends.

 

Better yet, Toonami needs to do the following to make this work:

 

1) Bring back One Piece so its Western fans can catch up.

2) Since Sailor Moon was the hit show after Dragon Ball Z back in the day, its time to bring the newly uncut Viz dub for its entirely, including Sailor Stars saga on air.

3) Speaking of Sailor Moon, bring in Crystal as well and do an hour-slot like they did with Dragon Ball.

4) Grab another Gundam series. Don't care which ones.

5) Keep other shows like Hunter X Hunter, One-Punch Man and FLCL.

6) Black Clover ain't doing well, get rid of it.

7) Put Boruto last. Literally. Naruto: Shippuden however, stays on its timeslot.

Just because SP are desperate doesn't mean Toonami is going to do them a solid. The time of Naruto being top dog of the dubbing world is long gone. It is almost at the very end of toonami's time slots, and has been there since the manga ended. Not only that but there is far too much competition that Naruto never even had to deal with; how is Boruto suppose to handle it when it is even lesser of the two? They might give it an earlier slot just to see if people like it, but when it fail back to the end of the line for it.

 

One Piece is on the time slot last I check it was the only anime after Naruto on toonami's line up.

It has been months since I've checked up on it they may have dropped it, again. Checks; looks like it. Behind Black Clover, Hunter X Hunter and Jojo didn't that flop...pop team epic. Wait... Sakura's resolve?..check Shippuden English release date. OK, I think they even given up on that, and a just doing reruns while they just releasing them on cruchyroll in mass like one piece...at least that what I hope. They are in the IT filler arcs particularly the one where they used Jiraiya's book as an excuses to literally have a fanfic where they did all of Naruto all over again but with "what if Minato was alive"...They haven't even gotten to Kaguya!!!

We're in the Land of Iron Arc, well, the end of it. As I said before in another thread, the dub on Toonami is way far behind.
