Ifs obvious she doesn't know, nor will she ever find out because I am pretty sure back then if she knew, she would have beat the heck out of Naruto.

I think thats a good theory, judging from how Sasuke was taken out of the picture like that and the overall storyline, I can honestly say that theory is Plausible.
