Oddly enough when I came back home (after two weeks) my Zune worked perfectly fine. Just charged it and it started working.

Actually the hype over the iPod is kinda overrated since, Creative Labs' Zen 4GB has a much nicer display (though not as good as iPod Touch) and also you can expand the memory by adding a SD memory stick to it. Also I think it has a tid bit better sound quality (though it might be the earphones not the player it self)
