My reaction to nh 'CANON' :

Oh God is this thread really necessary? If NH becomes canon then Kishimoto will be the biggest troll in the history of manga. NH becoming canon is like saying" the Earth is flat" or" the sky is really colored red" or" we don't need food,water or oxygen to keep us alive". You get the idea it will be the biggest asspull in the manga, apparently screw logic NH FTW!

Um... oh well, I guess. It sure wouldn't be the first ridiculous thing to happen in this manga.

 

I'd probably go through the stages -- confusion, disappointment, and then just move on. So long as SasuSaku didn't happen as well then it wouldn't bother me too bad. I'd rather Sakura be alone than end up with Sasuke.

If NaruHina becomes canon, I'll be devasted.  But i'll still love Naruto.  Minato already said Sakura was like Kushina and Naruto's own mother told him to find a girl like her, so NaruSaku would still have that unfufilled canon-ness to it.  If I get really deperate, I'll just imagine that Naruto got a divorce. XD  (If he doesn't have an NH kid, God forbid but even then I'd still take him if I was Sakura lol)

Divorce between Sakura and Sasuke would be even easier to imagine.

Hurt. But I'll deal with it. The only thing that would boggle me would be why Kishi ever bothered to throw those two big fat hints in where Kushina said for Naruto to find a girl like her, and Minato asking if Sakura was Naruto's girlfriend to which Sakura did not deny as much as she violently overreacted in embarrassment when Naruto pretty much said, "yeah more or less".

Curiosity, How many times in a manga Shounen has won the second pairing and not the main?

It's hard to imagine how it would be like for Naruto and Hinata to be in a romantic relationship in canon. If NH becomes canon it'll just seem like some strange Fairy Tale romance where Naruto suddenly finds Hinata to be romantically appealing for no reason. I don't know why Kishi would even choose this route instead of NS.

I would be so full of rage that I would take a very strong drink so that I would never remember liking Naruto in the first place and if that dose not work then I would go and kill Kishi for making NH happen.

Well it depends. If NH lead to SS becoming canon, I will create a huge fire and burn a lot of kitten, while screaming out my frustrations. Then to cheer myself up, I'll make s'mores.

I would be a bit disappointed since I favor NS, but I'd get over it. Pairings aren't the main focus, neither storywise or so far as I am concerned.

 

I would get majorly irritated with the reactions of fans, though, the fan war ones I mean. Like NH fans going "ha, in yo face" and both sides just throwing mindless insults at each other.

I would just go, really, kishi really just makes so much of a deal on some NS stuff and then just go NH, like it was nothing, that would just be stupid.

Yeah, I would say there has been much more development for NS than NH. I would hope that if NH were to become canon (which seems unlikely), that a good amount of development would take place first. Even in that case I'd still prefer NS, though.

Move on. And spend lots of times watching tv series and movies, forgetting everything. I have pairings in tv series that I wish to become canon but stuck forever as friends, so probably it won't bother me as much.
