Just like Brutal Legends this game has been canceled for a very long time. They're really trying to make it the best future looking game and no this isn't Command and Conquer 3 (RTS game released in 2007.) It's supposed to be a regular shooter like Halo/Gears of War and so on fourth. The original release of the game was going to be in the Fall of 2008 but put on hold for a long time.

Fugly maybe but reliability better and more important; I learned my lesson on the original PS2 i bought that messed up after a year's of play and the new slim versions are outlasting the originals time span. (Just like the saying that "the longer somethings been out the more improvements are made to it.") Except for 360, well the hardware is the issue anyways. (I want to have a good well spent $$ PS3, cheaper price/better reliability)

The PS3 is way more reliable than the original PS2, it's one of its strong points. and at Best Buy they have $400 80GB Bundle that Includes MGS4 and Killzone2, but that probably means that an even cheaper model is on the way so it might be best to resist a little longer.

15 dollars, and comes out the 30th.

Hopefully no glitches and everything runs smoothly, I'm buying it so I can share some moments of hilarity with my family.
