Its being a while since I posted on the firum, just wanted to pass by and say Helle everyone.

Exactly my point, friends don't need an obligation, but the ending portrayed them as not friends, so once again, why should he even bother? And I didn't read the chapter, so, as I was asking, was there any evidence that he even knew she was sick? If not, then how is it acceptable to criticize him for not doing anything in a situation that he doesn't know exist?

There is little reason to believe they aren't friends in the ending unfortunately

Though they seem out of touch now, it wouldn't be farfetched to say tey aren't as close as before, which is a shame since I loved that NS banter

I'm shocked that nobody even mentioned that to Naruto...... Shizune is acting a bit weird with the whole Uchiha family drama. I thought atleast she would inform Naruto.

Thanks but I will only be a lurker after seen the way how this Manga ended I gave up reading Mangas, now I only watch One Piece every 3 months.

"In canon", Sakura also determines that Naruto's feelings are worth nothing more than to dump off on the next person because she doesn't want to deal with them. They're not "friends", they're not even qualified to be "acquaintances". They hold no obligation towards each other. As I said, I would say the same if Naruto was the one laying sick.

I listed those things because you said she doesn't give a kitten about him. No, she tells him "he liked her because of Sasuke" in a question format, meaning Naruto could have denied and said no but he didn't. In the Naruto Verse/Canon they are friends just like its Canon Hinata and Naruto are lovers and Naruto is a kitten dad. I never said he has an "obligation" to help Sakura but it makes him a kitten person if he just ignores her for whatever reason.

Chidori is a very power technique and it must never used for unnecessary things.

That's not what I was talking about, but ok, whatever, don't care. There is zero evidence to provide that they are friends anymore, they haven't even interacted. He's already a kitten person, but @bold, you're operating under the assumption that he even knows what's going on.

One other thing I realised that didn't match the spoilers was that they were making it sound like Sasuke's mission was to retrieve the Uchiha eyes (unless this was stated in a interview) but judging from his reaction and even Naruto's the discovery about attacker with the Uchiha eyes this development was new and not something that he set out to do.

 

So it doesn't look like Sasuke was on a mission to protect his daughter at all, he just doesn't care to come home.

Sasuke is a wanderer or whatever he is. It's that moment that becomes a new mission. That would mean Sasuke is a kitten.

No he sent out the clone to find his son, the original is in the office doing the actual work.

It would be so dumb if you nailed it, Tricks, not because it isn't likely, but just because it's too damn predictable and I just once want Sasuke to TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS MISTAKES...

 

Yeah, it is ironic, since in the long run, it just shows that Kishimoto-sensei is now trying to make Sakura look worse by comparison to Hinata just to try to push what Studio Pierrot wanted. X-P Which is way more disgusting than anything else that he could do, considering all of this is just TOO. MUCH.

 

 

That's a pretty harsh prediction Tricksie....either way , Sasuke still comes off as an a-hole, it would mean he came to konoha to bag his wife but vouldn't spare a time for his child.

 

Not saying I want it to happen, just that it probably is going to go down like that. Or some variation. This is all being set up as a big miscommunication drama. Nothing more. If Salada hadn't accused her mother but instead asked her rationally, then Sakura would have answered. If Sakura hadn't been passed out in the hospital, then Salada wouldn't have left to go find Sasuke. Etc. Etc. 

 

But however it ends up, I'm sure Sasuke is going to be made to look like the traveling hero who protects the ones he loves from afar. While Sakura, although she won't look like the sweet wifey that Hinata will always be made out to be, will look like the long-loving wife who knows she must endure. It's both a compliment and a put-down: a compliment that she gets the love she always wanted, and a put-down because she can never actual have it in her life, not in any tangible way. 

 

And I'm sure there will be some scene in the end where Naruto and Hinata are standing there, arm in arm, looking affectionately on at Sakura as she waves to Sasuke back. See...because no matter if this whole spin off focuses on Sakura and Sasuke, NH still has to have the better love/relationship. And I just bet you there will be some comparison panel or body language in the end. The two couples, side by side or looking on. NH together and Sakura alone.

 

 

One more thing, it's hilarious how he can leave a clone to do the workd for Sasuke but not for his own child.

 

OMG you're so right!! You win the thread! Naruto can't send a clone to play tag...but to do manage the business of the country, sure! Go right ahead! Oh yeah, and Shikamaru's on board with that too!! No problems there, even though he was the one reining the clones in last chapter. What is Shika now, just a babysitter?
