Ironic that they were completely okay with fully catering to the American fanbase when there couldn't be anymore opposite cultural values, if you ask me. But in any case, The mistake was thinking that it was okay to break all narrative cohesion and consistency to make a non existent couple canon. And yes even the movie itself admitted the two were a crack pairing as we all know

Because authorities on the franchise had the same fetishes and mind set for that "irrelevant character." Go figure  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And even forgetting how Hinata doesn't sell, or how her actual fans are not even consumers of the franchise, or make up a fraction of it at best, the point being is that the narrative had not even pushed for the so-called canon couple. NaruHina is as artificially forced as as you're ever gonna get from a writing/story standpoint

Like I always say. Naruto was different compared to other manga because it was their international best seller. The fanbase that matter to them for Naruto was the international fanbase. What they thought the international fanbase wanted they got. They thought it was nH fans. They were wrong. They have paid for it.

But they haven't paid enough for it. Kishimoto took most of the brunt of it, but I don't give a lot of the blame to him since he was done with the series, and grieving over his dad dying.

I put it on his asinine editors and Studio Pierrot and Shueisha, for doing what they did to lead us down this path.

That's generally where my personal stance is when it comes to Masashi Kishimoto.  Kishimoto bares a good degree of fault for the current state of the series, but I'd be a prick to ignore the fact that he was in mourning during the final stages of Naruto over his father while constantly harassed by meddling television executives, editors and even overseas fans over a moe doll that even he derided.  I just wish he'd stop trying to cover his and Studio Pierrot's ass by making claims that "NaruHina was always planned." I mean, he had no problem badmouthing SasuSaku as toxic and openly suggesting that they'd divorce in the future, and its popularity is on the same scale as NaruHina or NaruSaku.

They are not making the money they hoped for and are force to keep afloat a failing manga and anime. That is the most amount of damage that can be done to a corporation in this day and age.

 

Also, it is likely some heads were rolling once they realized how bad an idea they were convinced to go along with was.

Since, we honestly don't know what he was feeling at the time. I honestly go what I feel is more neutral, that his father's death made him realize his was turning 40, his kids were no longer infants, and he wasn't able to spend time with them while he was continuing to work on this weekly series.

 

He has no choice in that matter. When he was trashing SS it was because he felt he was done with Naruto and he could move onto his next project. -Also, you forget that in that interview where he was trashing SS he said people only liked Hinata for her chest.- Since that interview he been more or less stuck in Boruto. And they don't like the old-creator/new-mangaka trashing the project.

I dont remember saying SS would divorce is that really true? There are many contradicting statements, Chie apparently was told about SS from the start but thats unbelievable lol, and she also said Sakuras confession to Naruto was genuine.

It was the Boruto movie interview or one of the interviews around that time. He called SS toxic, cliché, and just generally awful, and he said people only liked Hinata for her breast.

 

There are three...eras of Kishi interviews after the ending. The 'I don't get but its for the fans' era, the 'I'm done and I'm out of here' era, and 'Corporates shill' era. 

 

2014 interviews where he goes, "Sakura and Naruto were suppose to get together but people told me Sakura was unpopular, and Hinata was popular. So to repay the fans supporting me for 15 years I gave them what they told me the fans wanted nH; even if I personally don't get the appeal."

 

2015-2016 interviews where he goes. "Yeah there are problems with the ending but I've moved on and am eager to work on my sci-fi manga."

 

2016 onward. "Naruto and Hinata were always intended. Please consume Naruto-Boruto product and then get eager for next Naruto-Boruto product."

There's a lot of word and rumor that Naruto is (FINALLY) really dead ... hope that's true. If it is true, i wonder did pierot finally think that miserable character outlived his usefulness and no longer generate money?? But once again (if he really is kick the bucket) proved that the higher ups in that nest never loved him from the beginning. What a sad tale to end him ... i mean he never get anything he dreamed of isn't it?? he always look miserable throughout the entire season that his spawn supposely be the main thing. At least i expect him at the end of all this farce to be sitting on a chair grow old and lived the rest of his life peacefully. Instead they end him like a pathetic dog .....

 

I remember playing Call of Duty World at War and Black Ops, one of the character named Reznov said that Dimitri is the hero of Stalingrad, he should have died in Berlin as a hero. But instead he died being betrayed and caged inside a poisonous gas room like a dog. I can't believe that Naruto has to died the same way.

i know what your talking about with call of duty i played both games and it was sad what happened to dimitri and if that's how naruto went out that's even worse.

Rumors are rumors and he is still not dead in the manga. Like I said awhile ago, when he dies I will make that chapter topic, "he is finally dead" or something like that. I just checked the latest anime episode...dear god 208 of these things. He is in the hospital not dead in that as well.

 

If/when Naruto finally dies it will be in the manga. Since despite everything else one may think they still like to come off as an adaption.

If such a clause actually existed, then that would actually indicate that they hate Hinata. After all, that would be a fate worse than death for her If her beloved "N-Naruto-kun~" ever kicks the bucket in the future and she couldn't join him in death lol.

Today is my 7th anniversary of joining this site. I remember being trying to join but no success until one day for some reason, I joined. I am very grateful that I have because it's the only Naruto thing I will do.
