Well they ruined Narutos story for pairings so Its not unprecedented in any case. That said, It doesnt seem likely they will cast aside Sarada even if shes not a couple with Boruto because shes popular at least. Im not asking for her to be casted aside or for the exact same thing to happen. Im just saying If hypocrisy rears its head in the wrecked shambles of this series fandom, which is fans getting showing indignation that Boruto gets together with Sumire despite being developed with Sarada I will take the first chance to bash their own logic into the heads of the hypocrites. Thats all Im saying personally. Again, it may not do anything but Ill have fun at least.

It's so frustrating that so many fandoms have a huge amount of shippers who only see things as 'cute'. Doesn't matter if one of the characters is less interesting than a blank piece of cardboard. 
Bonus points if the girl:
>Has a tragic backstory that quickly gets resolved and/or swept under the rug
>Is cute 
>Doesn't do much
>Has a crush on MC
>Has zero personality

All it has to be is very cute. Only requirement. 

And people seem to LOVE ships where the girl is like that. They just CAN'T GET ENOUGH. They don't have the reading comprehension or skill to understand that those traits are 1000000% bad. It's like consuming sugar. You love it. It's addicting. It's appealing to your senses. But man, it's actually horrible. Just the worst.

I've seen series where a girl who fits that exact frame was purposefully made the *main heroine*. Literally had nothing going for her but being an assistant and having a crush on MC. In a series where everything is compelling and deep, she's the stain. I hate her as much as Hinata.
Hinata *actually* had a chance at one point to be more compelling. It was right there, in the story, laid out before her and everyone. Her. Clan.
Where she beat the odds, grew up and actually fixed the clan as the head. 
But Studio Pierrot and her fans laughed and said "Screw that!", threw it into the garbage dump and boiled her down to "nawooto-kooooon uwu" all while saying that's *all* she needed to be the perfect princess goddess moeblob. To sit there with her legs spread and call for Naruto the entire time.
If I didn't hate Hinata with my entire being, I might have actually felt sorry for her that everyone just kind of ripped everything actually worth something and meaningful from her character so she can be a brainless house mother with zero personality and zero purpose other than stealing everyone's oxygen.

The same reason that they call her the most powerful and wonderful goddess in the franchise if not in the history of all manga/ anime simply for breathing and existing. 
 
Now that I think about it, there is some double standard here, because Sakura is such a divisive for that same reason. She is hated for not being that for Naruto, and she is liked AND HATED at the same time for being that towards Sasuke.  But her detractors HATE her for breaking character when she starts to develop from that. Again, the doubles standards of this franchise IS AMAZING

Thinking of Moe Character type, I ended up seeing what TV Trope's put for Hinata on Moe and it's so cringe

He said constantly in interviews both before and after the ending -especially after- that he didn't get why Hinata was so popular when she hadn't done anything.

 

It also how both the fans and editors help screw up the story. Since they wouldn't fully explain why people liked Hinata and why Sakura was hated before the ending so he could try to fix it and afterwards he learn people just liked her for her breast.

It basically has to be someone trying to make Hinata sound tougher than she's meant to be, which is one thing I hate for most websites. As soon as I read that stuff Ble shared, I was like "kitten, please!"

I'd be lying if I say that I was. But I have better things to do than throw a temper tantrum  every 5 seconds when I witness anything related to this now trash franchise, and I've found new series that I love just as much now, if not even more. My feelings have more to do with the fact that I wasted my time on the series hoping for a satisfactory ending, all for naught

And a lot of times when Hinata chooses to fight, Naruto is the reason why more than not.

But I recently got into AOT and it's my catharsis as I said.

 

It's everything Naruto should've been in terms of war/war children & talk no jutsu, BUT MILLION TIMES BETTER!

Been over it. 

 

That year was really bad for me though since I suffered depression from that ending. That was my first time experiencing something like that. I used to feel so sick that I would vomit. Out of all the shipping's I supported NS was the one I put a lot of time into.  was too ashamed to speak to anyone about why I was depressed and had to suffer alone. I still had to defend myself against my brothers who like NH (and still regularly watch The Last to this day) and bragged. 

 

I had to distract myself with school and trying to socialize with people. I did a lot of drinking, partying, and other extra activities during that time. Took me two years to fully be over the ending and another year before I could even look at #her and Naruto.

 

I am in a WAY better place now that I can read NH in a story and not be THAT bothered about it. I usually skip any NH I see in fanfictions (even in FF they are boring so nothing can save that couple).
