Has Sasuke ever apologized for trying to kill Sakura? Even if he did, why the F would Sakura forgive that bastard? And even that, why the F would she marry him?

There's more but I will be brief.

 

That whole relationship of Sakura and Sasuke should NOT move forward, even towards first base. But because the whiny NaruHina fans (or should I say the otaku Hinata fans) believed that Sakura was the "obstacle" in Naruto's affections, despite how well we knew what was going on in the franchise (and I'm talking about before The Last fiasco), it was considered a way to make sure Sakura should have a miserable and "fake" future because she shouldn't deserved to be the heroine AND main female.

while poor Naruto was right there to witness the entire thing. Couldn't imagine how much how shattered Naruto's heart was throughout the entire War Arc, just watching all of this happen right in front of him.

Allow me to share a revelation I've had. For all of his bluster about, For all of his "Ninja way" responsibilities, Naruto Uzumaki is one of the most irresponsible heroes ever. He never learns from his mistakes. He never spends time his family. He  rather spends more time as Hokage then as a husband and a father.  Now, some would say that's the core concept of the character, the constant struggle between the Hokage and Family man. But Naruto is supposed to be there for his kids. Instead of using clones to  be at the hokage's office, he uses his clones to be at his daughter's birthday party. And what's worse is his wife Hinata doesn't do anything about. In my opinion, she's the reason this family's dysfunctional because she doesn't call on Naruto's BS. If he married someone like Sakura, He would spend time with his family because she would set him in line. But hey, maybe that's just the reasoning of a jaded individual looking at this stupid-ass Manga in hindsight. Of course I don't want Naruto to stop being Hokage. What I want is for him to be written like a goddamn adult already!  But the writers and Kishi and Studio Periott wouldn't let that happen. They think family drama is what the fans want but they don't. They don't want a workaholic douchebag. They want him to spend time with his wife and kids. to be happy. And we see that he's not. Maybe they should reboot Naruto.

Well said man cause your right with that he's no different than Peter in one more day. Though I think Naruto needs a one more day event since it'd work there since him selling his marriage to hinata wouldn't lose much unlike if he married Sakura which he'd lose more there

You know one of the arguments I hate seeing from the SS fandom when it comes to sasuke trying to kill Sakura during the Kage summit arc, is that due to Sakura trying to kill him first and he supposedly knows she is trying to kill him he is just doing self defence. Like regardless who is trying to kill who first they are still trying to kill each other and when I was talking to James about it last night, he pointed out even if you could argue for the first attempt being self defence the second attempt was clearly sasuke downright trying to kill Sakura by choking her and cutting her down with her own kunai. 

 

 

I don't care about whether it was in self-defense. the message and meaning behind those actions are indicative to how far the relationship between Sasuke and his former team has fallen. All Sasuke cared about was himself at this point. I've said this before, Sasuke's character type at least has a soft spot for a girl the story is setting him up with at the bare minimum and the girl would always be an an exception to his crosshairs at most. But lo and behold, both Karin and Sakura were fair game to him and he did it without a shred of remorse. So I don't care about debating whether or not it was self defense on Sasuke part. This PSYCHOTIC, DYSFUNCTUIONAL, DISGUSTING dynamic should not have been made into a romantic relationship. Period

His proximity to terror and death is like poison for Sakura. The love letter ninja scene  was meant to illustrate that.

 

"If you like him, he must be a great guy"... Or whatever. Sakura will wither and die with a guy like that.

 

He wouldn't have said that to Karin. You'd expect the guy Karin likes to be a weird ass dude. At least I would.

Is there any chance the raws said something along the lines of "any guy you like must be a great guy"? I ask because this way there's a whole different interpretation on that scene.

I didn't really look into it. Sasuke is NOT a great guy at that point in any case. And what I was personally baffled by is that is that there was still any insinuation that Sakura was still in love with Sasuke at that point because the story is saying otherwise. Just my opinion though , but it was on adding fuel to the fire for Anti-shipping fans of Naruto and Sakura which was also ticking me off. And in retrospect our patience DID NOT PAY OFF
