This is chapter was uneventful. *shrugs* No SS amen!. The cover looked cute though I must say.

you know i have a feeling that in the end naruto passes the hokage title to sasuke believe it or not its wierd enought to happen, i mean in a way everybody will have their doubts on sasuke en then naruto steps up and just says sasuke your hokage as ultimate gesture.

 

if that happens i called it, and i still will be like :OOOOOOOOOO for like 3 months but hey i was right!

I'm feeling a bit conflicted! Kishi seems to spend an awful lot of panel/panel space on simply trolling. 615, all those panels devoted to Hinata being encased in the cocoon, having Naruto react right after Hinata screams his name, the SS catch/SS cover this week. Why not use all those trolling panels to futher NaruSaku instead? It's such a strange way to work up to NaruSaku endgame. :S

I got the feeling of Open Ending.
Naruto is too young and Kishimoto is loving drawing Team 7.
If he finishs the story with a reunited team 7 i wont be surprised.

Also i'm disappointed on Kaguya what the kitten she's doing?

I don't think Naruto can just make anyone he wants Hokage haha. Besides, the Konoha council and jounin of the village would never allow Sasuke to be Hokage. Nor would the other Kage and their villages.

I guess I just feel sad. Why bait/troll a pairing you already killed off, right? I thought Kishimoto had already killed off SasuSaku, so why keep baiting a ship you already said was dead...Meh!

Nope, I had absolutely no problem with it either. I actually thought it looked cool.

I was annoyed because Sakura should have been riding her own horse, being the manga's heroine. Missed opportunity there to show her in that light.

@Lilac I feel you are a little over reacting. 615 was awhile ago and kishi didn't really emphasize on hinata that much. And Naruto didn't reacte to hinata calling his name, he reacted to all his comrades because he can feel and sense there chakra. He does not have telepathy. And the SS catch wasn't even bad, there was nothing more than just platonic as we can say now because of this chapter. And the cover is annoying, but don't forget we got one with a little narusaku in it weeks back with the dragon and castle. All these covers are are just eye candy, they don't push the pairings really for they don't relate back to the canon story. And just because she's blushing does not mean she "loves" him, and if SS fans think that then tell them that she must love naruto because she blushed when confessing to him, and earlier on in part 1 when he retrieved his hand band she blushed, she must have loved naruto then right? Lol the only panels that matter are the black and white ones(unless kishi decides to do the first page of a chapter colored like he did today with the hokage), and trust me Narusaku is far in the lead with those.

Ah great chapter but it felt so short to me !
I was almost crying I really thought Kakashi was going to die of god I'm so glad Obito did it again !
It's like Obito is doing Seppuku because he's dying intentionally and the stab is in the womb. But with this technique, his body is going to be destroyed, I wonder if Kakashi will have his eyes as I expected.
Next time, we'll obviously see Obito talk a little to Rin, that's good, really.
The color cover make me felt like Kishi wants to play with team7 before the end of the manga and entertain us a lot. Because it's the second time he's drawing them in a different world, this time it's like a western. I love the colors on Naruto on the Jump cover too.
I loled hard when Naruto asked Sasuke if he thanked Sakura and Obito LOL

I really like that dimension thing, because it gives a lot of dynamism to the story. The scenery can change in an instant, and the cards are all played again differently. I love it.

still,he is doing unecesary damage to narusakus image,when he could had simply put sakura on her own horse to ilustrate her as a true badass heroine she is..instead ,he going for the fanservice troll route,which i repeate,is unnecesary and not only damaging narusakus image,but its also contradicting the flow of the manga ..that cover with the dragon didnt do anything for me since wasnt romantic or romance related,and sakura was just yelling at naruto..the blush and the hugging in this cover,yes its romance related

So Kishi  reveals nothing on SS. I'm a little disappointed.

Almost everyone is talking about that. I don't understand.

The precedent chapter was NOT AT ALL about SasuSaku. It's not because Sasuke prevent Sakura from falling that there is SasuSaku.

Everything was about Sasuke considering Sakura, Kakashi and Obito like scum. Especially Sakura, she's the one that was the most hit by Sasuke's words.

 

Everything Kishimoto has written was about that. So he made Sakura prove wrong to Sasuke, and he forced him to be thankful to her. He's thankfull, it's written on his face, and he said in the precedent chapter that he made it thanks to her/them (because Obito was there).

 

Kishimoto is forcing Sasuke to ACKNOWLEDGE Sakura. All this is not pairing related. It's team7 related. Kishimoto is redoing their bond after showed us it was dysfunctional.

I liked the way Sakura was worried about naruto. Honestly, I never felt nothing when Obito died because it was expected. However, I shighed when kakashi lived because I was sweating in my pants.

 

First thing that came to mind when i saw that colored page, i thought Kishi was trolling because he did the exact same thing with the RTN cover. This time there is no NH. I do suspect that the focus of the chapter was about Team 7 and the SS moment in that cover tells us that the new movie comming soon will involve the big three pairings. According to some of you guy's posts, the new movie may be about the the ending of the manga that focuses more on Naruto and Sasuke.

 

Before i go further, I want someone to give me that link to that source.

 

It got me pondering for an hout after i read the chapter to why make the movie be about the ending of Naruto when its going to be shown in the manga. It's plausible it can be like a Dragon Ball GT summed into a movie. But why make one when the manga is still in progress? It does not make sense at first, but I have my suspicious that all these teasing Kishi is doing with the pairing fanbases were never trolls to begin with. What if Kishi planning to make the big three, NS,SS and NH are the end game pairing with two alternate-version endings to the Naruto series. One version  in the manga and the other in the anime version.

 

Its not the first time something like this has happened (although no pairing related) in the Naruto franchise. Part 1 there where two different users of the Bringer-Of-Darkness jutsu in the manga and anime. Hashirama was illistrated by Kishi in the manga, casting the jutsu while the animators made his brother tobirama cast it on Hiruzen instead. Another example is the Naruto's Sage Mode pimintation. Kishi's manga version is bigger and the hue of it is maroon and the anime version is more shallow and the pigmantion hue is orange.

 

Also you guys say the movie will be released on on December and the Oct manga ending is fake. If my theory is accurate, than this is the year that that NS becomes canon. I personally hope NS is canon in the manga version because it would mean we are first place.

-Kishimoto always draws SS beautifully  NS covers don't even compare they are always friendly even the last one SS are always romantic with Sakura's feelings always being shown for Sasuke
