Link will be where? I'm now halfway cracktastically convinced that Teuchi and Ayame are a tag-team of "meant to be" for Hinata.

'Cause I still have a hard time realistically seeing her end up with anyone, unless it's via the "Well she can't make Hyuuga-babies by herself, right?", cop-out.

Expect it up tomorrow night or the next day, I just accidental deleted some of the work I did and I'm making it a one-shot so it needs to be longer. That and I need to go through and check some of my grammar. Then I'm probably going to go through and re-write half of it cause I don't like it.

A brief post about a Hinata/somebody fic, in a topic discussing Hinata pairings?

I even mentioned why I look forward to reading about the fic's pairing in a way that stayed on-topic:

Probably because the fic in question is a crackfic based on comments from earlier this thread.

I think Kiba it perfect for Hinata cause I think that he always liked her and protected her and everything...also they are on the same team soo they will probably get together after Hinata realizes that Naruto will never love her and that he loves Sakura

Why? Because he's kind-hearted enough to mix with her demure nature, yet also seems spirited enough to make the relationship enjoyable. And, he's not hyper enough that Hinata would have to employ the kind of tough love Sakura has to use with Naruto.

Plus you know it'd be cute to see Hinata happily making box-lunches for him ;D

Anyhow, I'd say in all seriousness that it'd probably be someone within her clan. Dislike it as some Americans may, that's a real cultural norm to marry inside of a family, and it'd make perfect sense to do it here so that the blood-line trait may go on. That's why I always laugh at SasuHina, NaruHina and unfortunately KibaHina; they're American-values-based pairings that take in no consideration of the ramifications of the passing of a blood-line trait as well as years of tradition that wouldn't just be thrown away just for some Little Mermaid-type of bullsh-t ending. In real life, if you were to go against some family traditions, you'd be hanged, raped, stoned, beheaded or mutilated for disgracing the family. If Hinata were allowed to marry outside of the clan, I'd call pandering by Kishimoto big-time to the American audience.
