I could actually think of something worse. Naruto friend zoning her!    You know, the same reason why every Naruto X Sakura detractor said the two of them shouldn't get together. Remember being Naruto's honey bunny love pillow is the reason that Hinata's loonie hierophants adore her as they do, more or less. take away the crux of her character and she has nothing   

 

Now the big question is who are some other villains that aren't written as well as they could be?

 

Truthfully? Any villain that was one note and did not have any moral complexity, or at least an understandably back story that makes them monsters to them if you ask. That umbrellas Hidan Kakuzu, Deidara, Zetsu, and probably a few others. Now the writing admittedly, for even the villlains I consder good was  still pointless and unfullfilling  in the end because the resolution for many if not all of them ended with such an anticlimatic half-@$$ed note. they were not handled properly AS CHARACTERS, as villains they were fine. I will elaborate later. But that is the gist of it if you ask me

interesting, idk if this was already posted here i'm looking for the interview about kushina in the last but i found this while looking and noticed some interesting things about kishi and particularly the fact that he asks his brother and yahagi for advice. So the intro to o-parts hunter saying any similarities between naruto and o-parts hunter are coincidental might not be accurate (also the last part about his manga being made into an anime "manly tears of joy" lol)

edit: The CPR scene in naruto where sakura keeps naruto's heart beating did remind me of the scene in matrix when neo restarts trinity's heart and i'm curious if kishi took inspiration from that

The thing is, is that they feel like they could twist it in that way because of how Sasuke and Sakura-Chan "ended up together." Regardless if she did it for Naruto's safety and the fact that her feelings for him was growing, and they could misconstrue it as her doing it to run away with Sasuke because of how the ending went. What they don't realize is that they can't throw away on-panel evidence of it being the contrary. We know why she did it. She did it for Naruto, NOT for Sasuke. Everything she has been doing, it was with Naruto in mind. Chapter 297 proved that.

Lol, I don't think they have the balls tbh.

 

It's Naruto who keeps this series going so they'll probably somehow suspend it...he's going to be some sort of Schroedinger's cat.

 

Dead and not dead at the same time. So then Boruto's story will turn out to be a search to bring back his dad so the audience feels bad for the kiddo and try to finally get people to have that emotional attachment to him like we had with Naruto.

 

Only that ironically, it's still emotional attachment to Naruto. Just by proxy, aka Boruto.

 

Meh, anyway... This series still doesn't make me 'feel' something for it.

Welcome to the club, Chatte. Considering the stupid way the ending is, as well as everything else to boot... it's just too much to take to want to "feel" anything from a stupid sequel. Even YashaHime makes me feel something more compared to Boruto!

...Well, they aren't wrong she did try that once. At the part one confession when she was begging him to stay. After trying to use his love for her to convince him to stay. She did beg to go with him. When he blew that off she was finally out of options other threatening to scream; which is then when he knocked her out.

 

As for this, it along with everything else about the "false" confession especially after the ending is anything to put Sakura in a negative light to dismiss her confession to Naruto.
