Well BlueStars clamoring of Kishi returning to Boruto has come true.

I didn't want him to return for boruto, the only reason I would want him to return to naruto is when boruto was over and he comes back and does the ending he actually intended not the mess of an ending we got

I am not going to raise up my hopes up on this. Let us see how this plays. Is he drawing and writing again? If he is, he's in a better position now because he can have some downtime as Boruto is a monthly manga.  

 

But I'm not going to bring my hopes up, even if he pulls up bringing back Naruto's character from the grave and provide some NaruSaku hints in a full platter. Nope. If I see reboot, I may take a look.

He is writing and doing the rough draft of the art that ikemoto would then touch up and finish.

 

 

 

Naruto is about to die in the few chapter at the moment. He is heading to that grave this week. How many time do I have to re-mention that?

That was a story he set out on his own. Boruto's story was made by someone else and is already set with only so much he can add.

Oh I'm aware that he's walking into this story, but we do also know that he was supervising the manga  (however much involvement he had up to this point is still unknown) while Kodachi was writing it from chapter 1 to 52.  So he's probably got a gist of what happened.

 

 

That also probably means we're finally gonna approach the timeframe from the 1st couple pages in chapter 1 with the timeskip which would make a lot of sense.

matter of fact, he doesn’t even have to reboot the entire story. He does have to reboot that War arc though and the ending. With the exception of the NS girlfriend scene and Sakura-Chan not trusting Sasuke, etc.

As everyone has already stated above, my reaction to this is that I'm basically unfazed. Honestly, it's quite funny because like others have mentioned, it reeks of desperation to boost the series.
It doesn't change my mind about Boruto and it'll most likely still remain the same. If there are major events that take place that allude to pre-ending/pre-TL set-up, I'll be shocked unless it's in some petty format. Time will tell what his direct involvement will accomplish. :lmao:I wouldn't be surprised, honestly. He seems to be the petty type. All of his actions with regards to NH/SS point to that.

I honestly believe at the end of the day he will end up doing things in our favor. But then again, I’m a man with unlimited optimism and hope.

of course. I would love for Naruto to confess to Sakura-Chan as his last moments, she would admit she loves him as well, she cries, her tears revive him, and bam, they're canon. He could squeeze the Hinata thing in beforehand though. :-D

 

Honestly, I might be the minority at this point, but I'm hoping for Kishi to actually do the right thing this time around and bring NS together and give Naruto an actual inauguration. But, like I said, I'm a man of unlimited hope and optimism.
