So, I watched the prologue last night, and it was amazing. If anyone has seen Ufotable's work with Fate Zero and Unlimited Blade Works, and fell in love with the beauty of it's fighting and scenery; then this anime looks like it is a can't miss. Ufotable has once again shown us they can make anime more and more beautiful every year.
Has anyone else started watching this or are planning to? If so, have fun discussing it here.

I watched the first episode. Beautiful animation as always from Ufotable. I definitely like this more than the anime from last year.

LOVED IT!!!!!!!! I still haven't played the game yet because I want to play with my brother and we're both busy these days. But this should satisfy me til then lol. The Animation, fight scenes, and music were all well done! I freaking loved Alisha too. Poor thing, to go through such heart break

Alright I got my first review up, it's a little sloppy I'll be honest about it, nothing perfect but I wanted to try getting my opinion on it:

Do you mean the movie? or was it OVA? I haven't watched it fully, just bits of it. The OP or ED (as it was this week) has a small clip with the hero from Tales of Baseria, which is set in the same universe, though Baseria is meant to be set hundreds of years before Zesteria so I am interested to see if the anime will bridge the gap between the two games, or if her inclusion was for promotional purposes.
I really should finish the game before watching this anime though.

The worldbuilding from Tales of Zestiria the X simply appeals to me more than that of Godeater.

I can see why, but I liked God Eater a lot. They need to come out with a second season soon.

Tales of series has its charm, the game hurt my feelings but I wanna see if they fixed their mistake in the anime...maybe they will put more depth than they did with the Symphonia anime :3I was talking about Godeater. The name escaped me.

Well Ufotable doesn't make me worry about that lol That was upsetting...I didn't really enjoy what they did with her and Rose but they made up with it by their friendship also story was alright lol I feel that I may be biased though..lies? About Alisha? Well the combat you don't have to worry about because it's not a game!

Two episodes in and I think it's already becoming favorite anime series for the season... Anyway I noticed how last week's episode was Episode 0 instead of Episode 1 it was kinda confusing, but... okay... Anyway here is my review for what's technically Episode 2, but is Episode 1:

Actually no, The only Tales game I played was Vesparia on the xbox 360, I haven't played another one since.. SO I'm kinda walking into the anime very blindly without knowing anything..
But from the perspective of the game how do you feel the anime adaptation has been in only two episodes?
