Since people get enough time to catch up with their favorite anime, shows and manga, I decided to start this thread if people are bored out of their minds. If people (I know few) still have a fallout with anime/manga because of Kishimoto or caught up with everything and don't have nothing to read to pass the time, I have some recommendations away from Japanese entertainment/comic industry that might interest you to pass the time.

I noticed that Japanese anime and manga gets all the attention on this forum. I'm surprise that manhwa (Korean Comics) are not recognized on this forum. The only manwa thread I've seen is The Breaker series thread. Granted that majority of manhwa are mediocre comparing manga to them, there are some good reads out there that can even rival Shonen Jumps manga out there that are very underrated.

I will post three that on my top three list give an recommendation. Before I get into that, I will briefly explain what a webtoon is.

Brief Explanation

My top three.

3# Noblesse

Thank you for making this! Manhwas are incredibly detailed and delightful to read and look at. (I never knew Tower of God was adapted from a manhwa either.) There are some on mangakakalot.com

I've read a few elusive ones, but Tamen De Gushi is a popular one that I enjoy, probably one of the mainstream manhwas out there. It's soo funny lol, I was hoping that it would get an anime, I only heard rumors about that ;;

I hope to discover more manhwas, esp cheesy ones, my favs <3

I forgot to mention that webtoons is its own genre, invented in Korea. This first publishing was 2004 on Webtoons Naver (Magazine). As of 2014, the company launch an online platform for Englih readers. You can sign up for free and read webtoons for free too support the author. Although, I think there still a limit for reading a webtoon for free until you have to play. Now days, this genre is popular worldwide that a lot of webcomic artist are creating their own webtoons online.

ToG came from Korea, so the webtoon is the main source. Only the anime that started this April is the adaption.

Tamen De Gushi is Manhua (Chinese Comics). I will start thread for that in a bit.

I have a cheesy webtoon that may excite you. It's called Girls of The Wild. It's is a Korean high school mix martial art and rom-com stories. The female characters are very tough and a weak male MC training to become a martial artist.

oops, I thought chinese and korean comics fell under manhwa. :D Though yes I think it should overall be called webtoons since its more modern and digital.

Thank you for the recommendation :) since I have time now indefinitely, I started to pick back up in TDG as well as fish around for more webtoons to look at. i dont have any specific genre preference, it just needs to be enjoyable

I did enjoy Noblesse but I stopped after a while since the releases were inconsistent. Just confirming, has it ended?

Another one I enjoy is one that called Peerless Dad. That's a good read. I like to see an opposite version of this webtoon one day (Peerless Mom) in the future. An OP and good main character mother and a male lead son. That would be awesome read.

1. The Breaker
2. Trace

I wish part 3 of TB would start.

I haven't read Trace yet.

I haven't read Trace yet.

They announced it last year, but nothing came out yet :(

Trace is intresting, it has several parts each with different main hero.
