I've been noticing that our fanbase brings up theories about what the cover for the current volume would look like. A good example of this has to be volume 66, I remember people were bringing up discussions about whether or not The covers would just be Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke, their summonings, Obito and Kakashi in the background, etc. So I thought creating this section simply to focus on what the cover would look like based on what's currently going on in the current volume.  Granted we've only had 8 out of 10 chapters from the volume so far, but keep this in mind, 85% focuses on one particular topic of the volume. The other 15% then slowly shifts to the next topic. Remember the first 85% of the volume is what will be shown in the cover. Again, The Neo Sanin being the central focus  in Volume 66 is a good example of this.  

 

 So judging by what's happening in this particular volume already covered it's central focus. The bond between Naruto and Minato is clearly shown as this volume's focus. Which means that this will be incorporated into the cover. Here is a set up of how we can keep this discussion organized.

 

• Discussions about the volume's cover should take place after like 7th or 8th chapter of the volume.
• A title for the current volume is recommend (it's alright if you don't want to.)
• Fan images are allowed  as long as it retains to volume's focus.
• When the actual volume cover comes out, we'll discuss about that. However I think the actual covers should be saved for their own topics since this a Volume Cover Theories Discussion. 

 

That's pretty much it from my part, but now I'd like to share you a couple of fan images that could work for this volume.

 

For pretty obvious reasons the first two images could be similar to this since it was the volume's central focus.

 

 

 

 

 

The next two images can be kinda questionable, but to me it would sorta make sense seeing how Kushina has been brought up a lot in this volume (via flashbacks). I know that that she isn't actually present, but maybe like a ghostly image of her could work once the time comes for the actual cover of Volume 67.  

 

 

 

Again these are just my thoughts. What do you guys think about this topic?

I think the next cover is likely to feature Naruto and Minato, along with Dark and Light Kurama. Perhaps Obito will get a chance to show off his new look too.

Hmm seeing as how infinite tsukyomi is gonna take plus (unless something happens in the last two chapters of this volume) then this fan cover might be the potential focus of the next volume. You know maybe Naruto might see exactly how Obito's reality was; just a thought. Another possibility is that unless Kishi focuses an entire volume on Team Minato (most likely it will happen), then I could see it happening. Other than that the fan cover does look pretty sick. Thanks for sharing it Codus N.

I think that is true, but wouldn't the Dark Kurama be like a big spoiler for the volume's cover, almost for the same reason  why sakura's white seal in the cover of volume 66, correct me if I'm wrong about that part.

It's possible, but you have to remember that Sasuke wasn't heavily involved in this volume, similar to the Kakashi vs Obito fight in volume 66. So the chances are kinda slim, but you never know what Kishi might do with this volume's cover.

Not in this one, but maybe in the next one depending on what the central focus is gonna be.

To me, it seems the most plausible. Those were the attractions of the volume. The fact that Obito became the Ten Tail's Jinchuuriki and well, the combo between the two Kuramas via father and son.

Going off topic here but when Sakura has her next major volume what do you think will be on it?

 

I think her next major volume will be one of three things, The first one being a volume that completely focuses on NaruSaku (kinda a stretch) the second one could be her taking a part in the infinite tsukiyomi storyline for next volume (depending on if it succeeds within these last two chapters) and last, but not least  Sakura's major volume will mostly next Arc where Naruto vs Sasuke will take place.

It's not impossible. He's spoiled important events via covers before. Sakura's seal could be used as an example, actually, given that the seal is still visible on the cover.

 

Personally, I want to see that Minato x Naruto; Light Kurama x Dark Kurama fist bump make the cover.
