Western country have another rating systems.
there are ONG's that love to find something to protest and show that are good for something.
Naruto does not show even on paid channels, there are "free channels" and "paid channels", it's a different TV system.
Yes, I thought you could infer it was those rating systems are what I am talking about, considering rating systems follow the law of the country.
I know Western countries have different rating systems. Most countries in the world have different rating systems; but Japan is quite famous for having a comparatively relaxed law, hence the debate in the recent years over censorship. I mentioned Hollywood here not because Japan follows America (as every movie does not have the same universal rating), but because Hollywood violence is more graphic and realistic.
Naruto is only shown on paid channels in my country. I guess the original point I wanted to make in my first comment wasn't that western countries were "conservative" enough to bar Naruto from TV because of his gay kiss, but more because of the graphic violence and themes of death.
