Entire NS websites fans reaction to this chapter

Uhm, do I get killed if I say I liked it? 

I mean, I agree with people saying this is a major asspull and contradicts lots of stuff from what has been previously established in the manga however, the symbolism behind this chapter is rather nice. ^_^

I think I probably figured out the whole fiasco with Kakashi and Full Susanoo stuff. I think that Obito's spirit just warped into the living realm from the spiritual realm and somehow his soul and Kakashi are now working together. This I think is proven by that panel where Obito appears over his ashes and engulfs Kakashi and then those panels. And...he will stay until the fight is over! This is proven by the fact that he told Rin to wait for some time!

For now, it is something like....powers belong to Obito and Kakashi guides that powers. Sort of...they are working in unison. This however, still makes that full susanoo an asspull since Obito was never shown to have Susanoo though he should have had one but he did not, so he shouldn't! XD. This whole fiasco is still asspull...but I think it is governed by this principal! But apparently....that's just me though....

anyway, a chapter without SS and NH is always a good chapter.

Sometimes it is not what it is, but rather its execution and this execution was extremely sloppy. It would have been at least easier to swallow if kakashi was actually given Obito's sharingan back through more practical means

 

I'm not saying that I want one, because I don't. What I am saying is that out of all the people who need one, Sakura is at the top of the list and the rest of Team 7 at the bottom. I'm also saying that her being "normal" is not relevant to whether or not Kishimoto could Asspull a power up for her. It means absolutely nothing. 

If he willed it, Iruka could suddenly become god. Thats the whole point of an asspull, it makes no sense, it comes from absolutely nowhere and has no build up.

Frankly i've never really cared if Sakura was on par with Naruto and Sasuke, I've cared whether or not she's gotten the same amount of attention that they have and she hasn't. Her strength isn't important, its her relevance. 

You know what's funny? I think Sakura is more relevant than Sasuke at this point. Despite Sasuke having to be one of the keys to "lock away" Kaguya, he is still nothing more than a object rather than a character.

I know, that's why I said initially that I agree that is a major asspull and contradicts lots of stuff. I got to that I don't care anymore level, lol, in terms of asspulls and power-ups. But like I said, I did like the symbolism behind the move. :)

She doesn't need a special background to get an asspull, all that's needed is Kishimoto's desire to give her one. 

Like lets say Kaguya upon her defeat sees the error of her ways and decides to pass on some of her power to Sakura; Bam, asspull power-up, not special past for Sakura needed. 

The point is, Kishimoto's sidelined Sakura for the vast majority of the manga--the best way to predict future behavior is to look at past behavior. I have absolutely no hope for things getting any better for her. 

 

 

 What I mean to say first was that Sakura was design to be a normal girl so that mean no special background, no special power just a simple girl that work to achieve what she has now. To give her an asspull power like the one kakashi just had would destroy that simple idea IMO. Not saying Kishi can't do it because he prove that he can do it many times now but I think that asspulling Sakura like the other member of the 'team' would be a bad choice for her developement and god know that she doesn't need that. He did that to the other at least let her stay 'clean' from that asspull.

if I can add as well: I don't want to give Sakura a power-up through those means. I want her to actually have a power-up suit her and give her something she worked for. I want Sakura to have a power-up as well, but so far she is the ONLY character who has yet to be asspulled in anyway. Sure, there were stretches at times, but at least it was still within the realm of believability. I don't want to bring Sakura that low to just have her stack up. It's like "I expect something like this from Sasuke, not from Sakura."

Two asspulls don't make a right either. So just asspulling Sakura for the sake of a power-up is not going to make things betters. It will actually make things worse.

Although, I will say this. Give Naruto Minato's Flying Thunder God Technique. He has been hinted by Tsunade that he will be given that, but he has yet to be shown it. I want Naruto to inherit something from his father that was special and different. Something that truly only a few people can do.

I got to say I do agree with Chatte. I feel like the thing is if true about temporary power up, I think Kishi really got himself in a corner to make it work. Like I know people thought Obito will give his eyes to him like physically, but that would make it automatically permanent, thus wear a blindfold for the rest of his life, which would be funny. Anyway, it's like "Well...how can I make it a temporary...I mean I can have Kaguya poke them out by the end but I don't know if I want to do that..." So enter this. I know Kishi tried to explain but it is hard to comprehend it you know. If it's temp, fine but I wish he could have find another way. Maybe Obito truly wanted to say, "Oh kitten! I forgot to make a parallel! I'll be right back," but I digress.

Two notes I should reflect:

1) I have more sources to make fun of Sasuke!
2) Well, now I truly see Sasuke's parallel! It all makes sense in that regard. Not hard to see the joke.

I thought so too....and then the news of Sakura not being the mystery hit me and made me even more depressed now I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Kishi does make SS and Nh canon just to prove to us all that he doesn't give a kitten

... I don't even know what to say.  The chapter really made no sense whatsoever, but what do I honestly expect at this point -- certainly not logic. I can't really muster up the energy to be angry at the nonsense Kishi keeps pulling, I just don't care enough anymore. He's just going to whatever he wants anyway, and who cares if it makes sense. There aren't any rules in this manga about what can and can't be done anymore and there haven't been for a long time, so why bother? I miss when I used to be excited for new Naruto chapters.

 

Can't say I care much about the ObiRin at the beginning of the chapter, probably mostly because I'm allergic to Obito.

 

I don't really want to see Sakura get one of these out of the blue power ups that have been handed to Naruto and Sasuke, and now even Kakashi, but I don't like seeing her be saved over and over either. Unfortunately there seems to be no middle ground.  Sigh.

 

This chapter does give me an uncomfortable feeling that a part three might be coming. If Kakashi is going to be the sixth hokage, then it's going to be a while before Naruto becomes the seventh and I always imagined the manga would end with Naruto as the hokage. Of course I could be wrong, but it would seem like a rather big copout not to show Naruto achieving his biggest goal at the end. I really don't want a part three though.  The longer this manga goes on, the bigger mess it's likely to become.

The issue of its permanence isn't the problem. I think it will be easier for people to ignore of the impact is short lived (and limited).

It's real problem is that his acquisition makes no sense and violates the manga's own internal rules. Stories can have people do things that cannot be replicated in real life. Readers can deal with that, so long as the story itself contains rules and explanations on its use and that the author allows themselves to be bound by them. It's harder to deal with it when the author won't even obey his own rules when they are a roadblock.

It would have been better if he actually got the physical eyes and it were permanent. There is at least precedent for that.

I think the Sixth Hokage bit is a token title (what will Tsunade think when she comes out of the pod, cause we know she will). It'll allow Naruto to be the Seventh (Team Seven and all that) and, I think, is supposed to allow Obito to obtain his dream vicariously (which makes me a little ill).

It's really a no win situation to be honest. Well maybe one way and that's it, well do nothing. I mean if the idea is temp power for the sake of the boss fight, fine but still it's hard to take it in. I understand that his life did depend on Sharingan, so him being good all the sudden would be ironically an asspull. I guess you can say we got greater one of the two asspull, so to speak. What's more strange is that due to the movie, you actually start to see how it can transition to what people may believe part 3 by doing training with normal eyes. It's strange to say the least.

Orochimaru new personality.
Kabuto suden change of heart and random apearance to save Sasuke while giving him Hashi DNA.
Itachi power used against Kabuto.
BZ.
Karin.
SO6P talking with SN.
Kakashi spamim Kamui.
Madara beatdown against Guy.
Hashirama speech.
Naruto healing power.
Obito.
Sasuke.
Naruto.
Etc. Etc.
There ass being so many thing this late in the Manga that now what amaze me the most is people still having high expectation on this Manga whe the Manga it self stop making sense a long time a go.

At this piont I just want to see how this Manga ends.
