Then again, most people probably wouldn't travel far away to meet blood relatives for the first time.


But maybe Naruto would probably be really curious about his family and stuff.


Maybe he could learn a really powerful sealing jutsu from one of his relatives.


Could be a potential story arc, just letting that out there.

I wouldn't laugh about that one, it's probably true.

Remember, it was referenced by more than one character, and remember the way Naruto was vaguely associated with the 4th Hokage by others, the way Chiyo mistook Kakashi for his father Sakumo... Remember, the majority of full blooded Uchiha never develop even a basic Sharingan. My guess is Sai is half Uchiha. Since Sai resembles Mikoto and Obito's side of the Uchiha clan (softer faces- Sasuke looked more like his mom up to 13, but at 16 the resemblance to Fugaku is getting stronger) a male of that side perhaps had a fling with a civilian female- probably an artist, or at least from an artist's family. It could have likely been a short fling and they broke up before the woman even knew she was pregnant.

If Sai is half Uchiha it also gives a more sinister edge to Danzo discovering him and bringing him into Root, especially with what we discovered in Danzo's battle with Sasuke.

I'd never thought about. To me Sai more like Orochimaru's brother.

I'd could see Karin as Naruto's sister unless a first cousin. If Karin marries Sasuke and Sakura marries Naruto. How would their family be like?
