Despite my hatred for RTS games I gave this a try....and I was bored to death. I know the original Halo was going to be an RTS but was it really necessary to make one afterall?

Tried the demo and thought it was ok. The concept is cool and they did pretty well with having you in command despite the limited number of options with only a controller compared to PC with a mouse and keyboard. The build time however seem really fast so I was a bit taken back by the speed. Otherwise storyline seems interesting with a good user command using only a controller and for a console RTS it isn't half bad.

I'm sure it'll sell a lot because of the Halo name and those who are new to RTS, but otherwise seems like another decent game.

I'm sorry but Halo should not be an RTS. It's an FPS and it should stay that way. I looked at the game and I don't think it'll be that good. Believe me I'm a Halo fan, a big one at that but I'm gonna have to pass on this one.
