Wait...

"Chouchou made the implication very clear than both Sumire and Sarada were worried a little “too” much over Boruto, the difference is Sumire blushed because of it. I think we all saw different episodes. Sumire has in no way a crush on Inojin as far as we’ve seen. In fact, she was more worried about him saying something rude to Boruto."

Serious question are you guys ok? Every other post is pedophile this pedophile that Sarada's "horrible" dress  Ikemoto is a pedo. Are these the only things you can talk about? Like no offense but this conversation has reached idiotic levels. Your calling someone you don't know a pedo because you don't like the way he drew a fictional character(lines of ink of a piece of paper)?   I mean your seriously debating if a fictional character is or isn't wearing panties. I haven't seen any legit criticisms of the dress other than hurr durr i don't like it. I also saw the vol 3 cover and i think you guys are hilariously overacting. Unless you are seeing something i'm not in relation to the her dress then i don't see the issue and feel this is just virtue signaling among other things.

The problem is that we've never seen this style associated with Kishimoto's works, particularly with his tween characters. So this was kind of a shock to most people whose been following this series, not just here in the H&E forums.

You watched Code Geass too right? Then your familiar with how virtually every female character, from little girls like Nunnally and Empress Tianzi (around the same age as Sarada) to grown women in that anime was inappropriately viewed. Code Geass is rated M for Mature and shown late night for a reason.

I personally looked pass the sexual content in Code Geass because the story & characters made up 110% for it and it was under a different type of circumstance than Boruto. The difference is that Boruto is on a much higher platform and has a vastly different audience with vastly different expectations towards it.

Like yeah I get it. It's not real, it's anime so it's completely normal to see boobs & panty-shots in microscopic detail all the time. And as much as I dislike how PC culture has gotten out of hand lately, I get where your coming from. But I don't think it has anything to do with this situation.

One of the things I (and maybe many others) appreciated with this manga is that they kept those sort of things at a minimum and saved it for the adults that were appropriately aged for this type of exposure. Sarada is only 12 and she looks like she has the legs of a 20 year old LOL it's all hilarious to me tbh. It reflects poorly on Kishimoto's behalf, who has a rep of modesty when it comes to his character designs. If we've never seen this style with Kishimoto's other works, then of course people will be shocked and offed by it. So not everyone is gonna be as tolerant towards this.

Her outfit looks SO unpractical, but she looks like she can work it, so good for her. Her legs are drawn weird, but we'll all probably get use to it (or sick of it) and move on. I'm glad in the anime they toned it down.

But my main gripe is that they're just focused on only Sarada, so she in particular stands out. Why are they trying so hard with her? Will other girls have the same exposure as Sarada? Like Sumire, Himawhatsherface, Chou Chou, Hinata, Sakura?

Did you watch season 2 ? By the way, episodes 17+ of season 1 are filler and season 2 picks up after episode 17 of season 1.

That's fine if we went off topic for a short while XD Anything other than Naruto  / Boruto now is a lot better. Naruto pales in front of most other anime and manga.

Since when?! Lmao I'm such a granny when it comes to keeping track of episodes and seasons.. I'm watching that anime where Jesus and Buddha are roommates and boooi

They won't tackle these kind of suggestions cause there are no enough skills to make the plot revolve around them. It's too much for them to work on. They'll stick to love triangles.

I would have liked to see them sneak in a couple of dialogue that involved real issues in society there, since the series has a little(?) influence in Japan youth and abroad, nothing so heavy handed.

Just seeing Naruto work a job he based his entire exsistance on with no heart is pretty depressing to watch lol. Characteristically, he should have been anything but customary and typical.

Unless it's a touchy topic, which is sort of understandable. It woulda really interest me if they seriously went in an outlandish direction like that instead of just sticking in with the same mold, haha... like Sakura having abs ♪(´ε` )

From the review that you gave us, Boruto lacks ambition, vigor and most importantly, inspiration.

Because what is so inspiring about a spoiled child who has it all with an unnecessary case of daddy issues? He doesn't have much to prove about himself, Boruto's automatically well respected around the world because of his background and widely revered family; his beautiful princess mother and handsome heroic demigod father. So... there's not much too it. It's just a cookie cutter "shounen".

I tried to give this a chance, but I will not be watching/reading about this any further, personally. I kinda don't wanna go through another 300+ filler series that leaves me more confused than informed again... This was made for skin-deep fans who prefer fanservice and graphics > plot and character anyway, which I'm not apart of. I know I sound as salty as the Dead Sea, but that's just how I feel.

(If someone can recommend me some better action/comedy/psychology/horror packed manga/anime to look into that's better than this, that would be swell. I'm currently looking into Tamen de Gushi, SNK and stuff like that.)

Seriously, I'm gonna roll my eyes to the back of my head if she ends up being a stepping stool like Sakura, or I'm gonna think it's in her genes to be one.

But for the love of God, please... let her kick butt at least for more than one arc if this goes on. She's already been given the tools, all she needs is to use them. I want there to be at least one female in this series who doesn't fight solely for or because of a man, who isn't exactly lovelorn about them.

She wanted to be Hokage right? Then GIRL GO GET IT. DON'T BE SWAYED BY THIS UNATTRACTIVE HALF-BAKED BANANA FACED NARUTO 2.0. CAUSE IF HE WANTS U, LET HIM WORK FOR U. OTHERWISE ITS BYE BOI

pls

A tiny part of me thinks that they are STILL trying to convince his audience that NaruHina was originally planned by introducing another moe character like Hinata in order to draw parallels between them, like between Sakura & Kushina.

BS vs BS, oh I just love it. Sumire looks like a rejected character from Sailor Moon, I can already feel the moe stereotypes just rolling off this child. I thought they would do better at least...

But just like with Naruto, I feel that romance will both ruin this series and keep it going for a while. I don't see this disappearing anytime soon.

A secondary love interest who acts like his mom? Oh boy this should be interesting. Didnt think they would go for a love triangle given what happened with the ending

They probably wanna "do it right" this time. NaruHina vs NaruSaku: The Sequel that no one ever asked for.

I wonder if Hinata will drop a line of advice like Kushina did to Naruto and be like "find someone just like your mother *wink wink nudge nudge*"

#936990 Is there any taboo ships you ship? like something like incest?

Sasuke & Itachi. And no, I don't care what ANYONE tells me about this.

Ah, lovely Sumire. Can't wait to see you tripping on rocks and crying out Boruto's name in the near future.

I can already feel another "love triangle" at the works here. It's all... rinse & repeat. Everything is happening to quickly for me and felt rushed. Less soul went into this, I can tell.
