While he couldn't absorb chakra back then. The Uchiha are like the saiyans, whenever they encounter a near death experience they always get stronger. Usually through the Ass-pull variety.

They are semi-saiyans despite they eyes get stronger it doesnt enchance their physical strenght anyway i agree with you they are an emo version of the saiyans.

The good thing about that is that we can make all the nonsense predictions we want, because what's going to happen will be nonsense anyway.

 

Kakashi's arc is pretty much over, but Sakura's turn won't be for a while..I think. She has more potential in the Team 7 conflict than the Madara battle. Because it's personal to her.

If Kishi writes at least parts of that arc through her eyes, it would be great. Not directly a narrator, just make her a center, kind of like how she was in the kage ummit arc. Because Sakura has potential to be some sort of a neutralizing bridge between Naruto and Sasuke. Besides, while they have made up their mind on what to do with it, she is still conflicted. Sakura is the centre of the romance sub-plot, so writing her as one would be great because it all depends on her. Not just talking about who she chooses in the end here, I also want her to decide on her own what part she'll play in Naruto and Sasuke's conflict. I would like to see her development close-up, and how she reaches that decision. I'm thinking of this as a possible follow-up to the summit arc.

It probably won't happen, because I think Kishi is a bit wary about writing women like this. He says he can't write them, but that sounds like he puts their gender a top priority. If he just focuses on writing her human, I think she'll be fine and her beautiful´ femininity will peek through. And there is hope, because like I said she has been a central figure before.

 

There's also another thing. There is fairly a lot of things to be shown by Kishi and how the hell will he have time to show everything. There are only a few weeks left but one can say that 2013 was Obito's year. Imagine a Madara year.

hence why I think that Madara won't fight as an uchiha but as a senju. The number of times he got his ass handed to him by Hashirama pushed him to covet Hashirama's powers. He fought DMS kabuto before taking on the jubbito(Stronger than Madara) and with Naruto took it down. I am not saying Sasuke is on Madara's level but its not like this was a fair fight, yes Madara is blind but he is also 100% fully rested.

To tell you the truth what really annoyed me was Orochimaru's line "Sasuke has the potential to surpass Madara" to which I was like "Yeah right that's complete bs". Now it's truth that Sasuke is still young and doesn't have the battle experience that Madara has but to say that Sasuke can surpass Madara is laughable. And this is based upon everything we saw until this point. If I'm not mistaking Sasuke has only own two fights in his life the one with Yoroi and the one with Naruto, the rest of his fights he either gets his ass saved by someone or the plot demands for him to "win" the fight even though it's obvious that he was completely outmatched. With Madara we saw that he is really strong and the only one that can defeat him is Hashirama. And in this war Madara was just toying around with everyone, he never took it seriously. Only now we're going to see what he is really capable of, hopefully he doesn't disappoint.

How long can a fight like this one continue though? For Tobi, everything from #636 onward until #655 was dedicated to him. It included several chapters worth of despair and rebound cycles, some paternal bonding, and the climactic TnJ at the end. Unless Kishi chooses to recycle some of those topics for upcoming chapters, the focus will be centred on the Alliance's struggle against Madara. For the time being, there doesn't appear to be any sliver of uncertainty or remorse in his heart unlike Tobi, which means that everyone will be giving it everything they have to defeat/kill him.

 

I'm not sure how long Kishi could possibly drag this fight out without the Shinju returning as an enemy to divide the attention of the Alliance forces and Black Zetsu in Tobi's body can provide only so much content (this will likely be his death battle). These final confrontations of the war could last for only a volume's worth; assuming it pans out like the fight between Naruto, Sasuke, Tobirama, and Minato against Tobi. It may depend on how far Kishi is willing to go with the expository speeches to prolong the story (chapter #646 being the most recent example of this).

 

Many fans are already arguing that the ending of the manga will arrive by summer of 2014. That's only about roughly 20-28 chapters worth of content. Personally, I think that's unlikely. The Naruto and Sasuke fight from the original series almost reached that amount by itself. You can rest assured that their rematch at the end will at least be as long as that, if not longer. No... I think the manga will continue until the end of 2014 at least. This fight against Madara and the aftermath will probably consume all of the content going into Spring. Then there is still Orochimaru, Taka, and others to deal with.

Regarding the length of the battle. If Kishi is going with adding cliffhangers for every fist or kick that is thrown in the Madara fight then we will get maybe even 2 volumes of the same fight. Add some flashbacks because we need more flashbacks and it can take for a lot of time.

 

I'm guessing that either Kishi or even Jump is trying to lengthen the story as much as possible.
