If y'all go on the korranation tumblr, you'll see a new clip with a caption underneath that says "Korra's training is interrupted when her fire-bending crush Mako arrives." Hear that? That's the sound of the makorra cannon being fired. although it's one-sided as of now since we only know Korra's feelings.

I'm starting to think that since they're giving us these makorra scenes so early that the show will deal with how Korra and Mako develop and maintain their relationship over the course of the series rather than do the typical will they/won't they shtick... unless they decide to do a love triangle like Asami/Mako/Korra or Bolin/Korra/Mako. I hate love triangles; please don't let that happen.

That would make sense. Although I am happy, it is a little odd they are showing so much that would normally be hidden until the series at least AIRED.
Amen to that. It would be much more pleasant to watch than yet another love triangle.

This whole shipping thing before the series premieres makes me cringe. I didn't really ship in A:TLA I just assumed Aang was going to end up being with Katara.

I hope this series doesn't evolve into shipping wars like A:TLA. It seems to be starting already.
In Naruto, we complain about there not being enough romance with the kids. Which is partly true with Kishimoto. But romance can also ruin a series if overdone. I have been catching up on the new Thundercats(which is awesome). But 90% of the discussion about the show seems to be focused on the controversial love triangle. I hope the creators of these new shows aren't too focused on baiting(and attracting) shipping fans for ratings.
