I'm not sure if he doesn't like him, but I think he's digging at Kishi and Kishi's ending a bit, it's kinda...strange. Maybe Hiro was disgusted by the ending.

 

Could be. I wouldn't be surprised if there are a bunch of mangaka that hated Kishimoto's methods.

Well yeah, that's how they all are. Don't expect MGR tier of boss fights. That's when developer put into gameplay effort.

But still, if I were to follow the game, I would think this is how Naruto is. Funny, it's becoming more AU than Ninja Turtles.

 

In fact I'd say the Ultimate ninja 2d games were superior than these storm ones.

 

I had a lot more fun playing them at least

Well forgive me from being too vigilant. Its just that If I ever see another mangaka pull the same kitten stunt as Kishi every again, I would probably go nutts. I try to stray away from ongoing manga as far as possible with Shonen. The only shonen manga I'm reading is Gintama.

On a sidenote, I've started watching the anime ^_^ I love all three MC.

I had share deal of bad endings not just in manga but in other media forms of storytelling like the video game Mass Effect 3 ending. But nothing comes closer to Naruto's ending. I envy you to still continue to read manga, experiencing a mangaka's betrayal more than once. I would have drown in my own puke if it were me lol.
 
 
Same here. But I don't have a problem with the suffix "kun" in Seinen manga because its used properly and its not annoying.
 
The main reason why I dropped FT because I was getting too much attached to NatsuLucy that I was about to become a shipper. Back then, the story was not intriguing, so it was easy to drop the manga versus naruto being my first manga and have been following the series since 2005 was  too much of an inspiration and by that time I already shipped NS and that was why I couldn't let go of Naruto because of my love and supporting of NS and its fandom. If NL is confirmed to become couples or if the manga ends openly, than I will comeback and read the remaining chapters I missed. Shipping is never good and a good lesson I learn from Naruto lol.

Trust me on this one. NL is good as it can get in pairing confirmation. His old work Rave has a canon pairing and it was obvious as well. Here, it's no different. Like I said, if it ends Naruto style, I'll quit manga/anime. Lol.

So I came across this video of Sasuke and Sakura's english voice actors playing out a skit, and this made me laugh.  Alright so basically it's to show how Sasuke would propose to Sakura in pre-timeskip and how he'd promise to her post-timeskip. By the way this was during one of the Otakon conventions back in 2009. Oddly enough I had it saved as a favorite because I just found it hilarious, and still do to be honest.  So for those of you who have seen the dub just imagine Kate Higgins and Yuri Lowenthal would voice out the scenes for The Part 1 Version and Part 2 Version.

 

Alright so lets get Part 1 out of the way first first: 

 

The Part 1 Version

 

Sakura: "Yes Sasuke." 

 

Sasuke: "I know you're really annoying, and I know you have a gigantic forehead."

 

Sakura: "Thought you were about to saying else."

 

Sasuke: "Well let me get to it, and  I know I'm obsessed with revenge most of the time now and I don't have time to do fun boy girl stuff and I know most people think that I have the hots for somebody else (referring to Naruto), but..."

 

Sakura: "Yes?" 

 

Sasuke: "Will you be my ninja bride?"

 

* Kate Higgins Paused skit for a brief moment to wonder.*

 

Sakura: "Wait hold on is this pre-shippuden, or you know."

 

Sasuke: "It's pre-shippuden."

 

Sakura: "Okay.  Um...  could you repeat that again?"

 

Sasuke: "Look it was hard enough to say to you the first time, I don't know if could say it to you again."

 

Sakura: "Please, could you please try to say it again? Um.... I didn't quite hear you."

 

Sasuke: "Will you be my ninja bride?" 

 

Sakura: "YESSSSSS!!!! I will I will I will I will I will" 

 

 

After the skit....

 

Sasuke: "Well of course this always ends up with Naruto shapeshifting into you know.."

 

Sakura: "Now... Well do we wanna go post-timskip?"

 

Sasuke: "So Same question just post-timeskip." 

 

Sakura: Yeah." 

 

 

 

 

The Part 2 (Shippuden) Version

Sakura: "Could you repeat the question?"

Sasuke: "I wanna kill you."

Sakura: "I know what you're really trying to say Sasuke, You really love me, but you're just not man enough to say it. I feel that it's taken you too long to come around and notice how great I am, and so I'm not sure if I wanna give into you. So the answer is no, and I'm very busy, I have alot of people to heal. I have other things to do right now, and I got to go. Sorry."

Sasuke: "And so you see kids that's why you don't mark on quests for revenge."

a romantic comedy where the the male lead and the female lead would get together due to the numerous mutual development, hints and a freaking kiss to top it off. and then bam! the final chapter kittens his readers over and everyone hates it. no, this is not split in half like the naruto fandom. everyone hates it now.

I wouldn't be surprised. Oda has said some sly things about Kishi even before the ending, Hiro must have hated the ending because Hiro has a ton of respect for both men and women, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of other people hate how he yanked around his fanbase.

you know a while back i actually thought about getting into ft. but since i've been hearing some naru/sasu rivalry that natsu and some other long establish character got going on, there's zero chance of me ever reading it now.

i'm staying far away from series that has the friend go all evil and it's up to his buddies to save him, especially in shounen. i find this to be the most annoying trope ever thanks to naruto.

Naruto is not the first nor the last of shonen manga who do that.
For example, fairytail focus on adventure and nakama bond.
While naruto focus on bromance that would make broke back mountain a straight romantic movie.

Like NS4Life said, the ships are clear as day in this series. But if we're talking about the plot, I understand why you would drop it. It did take a long time before we got our answers about the whole plot. If you're interested, you could go back to the previous arc where Mashima finally got around to answering most of the questions about the plot.

It starts at 356 and ends with 417. At this point, the series is definitely heading into endgame territory. I think the current arc won't be too long, either.

It's just so disrespectful of Kishimoto, isn't it? There's a relationship that develops between a creator and those whom follow them, a degree of trust that sustains both parties and keeps them supporting one another. When that trust is broken, it is incredibly difficult to get back. Kishimoto willingly broke that trust, purposefully broke that bond for the pursuit of the almighty dollar, disregarding the people whom gave a young inexperienced mangaka a chance all those years ago, and those whom supported both his characters and himself through the journey that they shared along with them. He compromised the integrity of the story that was fifteen years in the making, and told anyone who ever gave a damn about it that they were the ones in the wrong. It's such a slap in the face, and I feel so sorry for all of those people who followed Naruto for so long and were utterly betrayed by the sham that is its "conclusion".
