And he's right as well. Where Naruto had meaningful themes and motifs that everyone can empathize with---like revenge, love, friendship, and forgiveness---, Boruto is more of a boring slice of life IV'd to the success of it's predecessor.

Because Boruto is exactly what a cash grab looks like. There isn't a point for this series, nor is there nothing to be learned from it. Cause there's isn't anything too sentimental about a bratty kid with daddy issues. Not many people can relate to that either.

Fukk how pathetic can a person get??? I mean after Sasori, Sakura just becomes a pairing plot device. And I know that a lot of ppl take issue with her lack of fights, but in every regard, especially the pairing aspect where Kishi uses her the most, she ends up sucking it deep.

 

I loved her character before. She needed more fights (Or at least more involvement in fights.) But at least had she gotten over Sasuke she would have been a stronger character. It's why imo 693 really is revolting. It's like watching a suicide.

 

 

 

I found this scene more heartbreaking than pathetic really. She's out there pouring her heart out to him and he responded by stabbing his hand in her chest going "nah". 

 

There's nothing wrong with the fact that she wanted to help Sasuke. It's that she's consistently letting herself become so vulnerable in front of him that makes it pitiful.

 

I would've loved for Sasuke to have openly respected or thanked or apologized to her instead, somewhere during that arc. Never did I imagine that they'd still get together under these circumstances.

I only have one thing to say about all of this.

Analyzer probably: "Actually, the group mutually decided to disband."

It's snarky in how its phrased, and its not a good thing to say because it doesn't offer anything insightful, and doesn't pin point to exactly what they were wrong about, so dismisses the entire statement, which is rude. I've no reason to type that phrase again, unless someone actually does say something that is a complete lie, but even then, I'll take the time to explain why, so it doesn't come off so arrogant. It's more polite than the sweeping sentence I made, and obviously, if I hurt the OP's feelings for that, I apologize.
 
The opinion does have actual errors in it though, I think namely the problem is that 700, is, more or less, a happy ending, and this is more or less painting it as if its an unrewarding end for the characters. Its also what it was always building to, this was the ending he had in mind. The opinion also has blatant unsupported statements "For the money and to break his wife's heart", which paint the author as some sort of bad person... but these statements have nothing to them, no evidence, no truth. I think this is a mistake, to paint the end so wrong and evil, to say, not literally, mind, bar maybe for a few, but there's a definite shading very often done. 
 
Which is what I point in a lot of arguments that make these sort of statements, or do get things wrong. I find a lot of opinions do this, so it comes off as arrogant, but its not the intention to come off arrogant, really, bar when I use snark anyway. 
 
 I don't want to snip at  the opinion more though, because I empathize with the emotional sub-layer, which is really a disappointment that NS was not canon. I am too, but I also understand that it makes sense.

Another thing, both Kyoshi and Kya like women! XD It's awesome. In the comic Kya makes a speech about how Kyoshi was bisexual and then she talked about her own first girlfriend.

This passage refers to two very often overblown and misunderstood moments. 

 

The Obito comment was not addressing the evil Obito did, but the good in Obito, really, young Obito, and who that person was. That's their common ground, that Naruto empathized with. 

 

The Hinata one about the hand is even worse to overblown, because it's well established Neji's death impacts her, and it's literally a side comment about how safe it makes her feel. But it's so overblown and twisted to mean that she disregards and doesn't care about Neji. It's a very poor misreading, that nearly warrants a 0/100 and detention joke. It's not even morbid. Of all of the arguments, this is one that desperately needs to be dropped. It's embarrassing to even see from our fandom.

The fact that NH and the overall ending is more thoroughly explained after the completion of the original manga, not during it's actual run, is why we will forever be in disagreement. The Naruto manga is supposed to be a stand alone piece. However, that's not the case because of the movies, novels and sequel mangas that were made to better explain the end. Something that good writing does not and has not ever needed.

If she says she ships NS, I believe her. And she has a right like any of us to be on here if she wants to.

 

I don't care what people like to ship tbh. Like whatever you want: NS, SS, NH. Anything that makes yourself happy as long as it's not hurting others.

Because if you cannot explain why something doesn't make sense, it begs the question on why you are believing it. And if it is just because you dislike it, then does it have anything to do about sense?

 

 

What are you talking about? I never said I disliked anything to you in this conversation.

 

I'll believe in what I want to believe in, thank you. As can you. But you don't see me policing and regulating people's own stances to match my own. And at the end of the day, no one could be the officiating judge of what we think.

 

Your arguments has not changed any of my perspective towards this manga in the slightest bit, as I'm sure none of our arguments has changed yours.

Because it is you who refuses to even give a chance of day to consider someone else's argument, because you've, for whatever reason, decided it's not worthy enough to even think about.

 

I've been watching, and it's almost obnoxious the way you've continuously dismiss other's arguments/opinions, just because we are not as blessed to have the same type of education that you've received.

 

I'm just gonna say this: you cannot be the judge of every single argument on here. Until you prove to me that you are Masashi Kishimoto, you cannot decide whether my or anyone else's argument/opinion is right or wrong. 

 

Your personal interpretations of a piece of evidence is not always gonna be fact just cause you decide it is. People are going to have different perspectives and interpretations on the same piece of evidence. Learn to respect that.

 

 

 

Frankly, NH making sense is fact, because I can back it up by evidence. NH not making sense is not fact, because it's not backed up by irrefutable evidence. Now, this isn't saying you have to like it, I don't ship it, but sorry, it makes sense. 

 

I am not in any way denying that NH & SS and the rest of the ships that were shown in ch. 700 are canon. I don't like NH and other pairings shown in that chapter, but I'm not going to deny the fact they got together at the end. 

 

Of course you have countless pieces of evidence to support NH. The day The Last and ch. 700 was released and beyond that is where the massive operation of explaining "why it should be" truly began. Their still not done shoving NH down our throats in Boruto as well, so of course.

 

If it makes sense to you, fantastic. It does not make sense to me, not 100% at least, and I'm not gonna waste my time trying to understand the type of mediocre brainstorming that went into conceiving these pairings. So have fun with that mess.

 

This is problematic, because if you say something doesn't make sense, you have to explain -why- it doesn't. And a lot of points that explain why can be proven false.
