I've seen soap opera's with better plot than this.

 

And trust me, This coming from an Indian is a pretty big deal.

We have a different soap opera every half hour for every channel, 24 hours a day.

Let's put things into perspective tough Kishi isn't the Naruto writer or even a writer he's just a figurehead "Writers can’t stand suggestions, if you suggest something, we’ll do exactly the opposite."he has no writing talent by himself and doesn't know what to do with his characters or story, we are putting all the blame on him but I'm sure the decisions were taken by different people Kishi just went along because he just didn't know what to do and has no backbone, Sakura Sasuke the chunin exam and so many other plot points were never his ideas. Unfornutalety for this manga the people surrounding Kishi at the end were just as bad as him. Don't be so hard on the man he's just incompetent, the poor man doesn't even know what a red herring is.

I agree. Like I said I just don't believe in "theories" with regards to Kishimoto because I don't think he plans things out in details that much. My guess is Sasuke has been gone for the things that were hinted at before had by Kishimoto, he's investigating the Rabbit Moon Goddess stuff. Hell maybe he's also tracking down Oro or something else who knows.

 

I also know that the 12/13 year of abandoning his family will be approved in the end by the character affected. Both Sakura and Salad will forgive Sasuke, hell I wouldn't be shocked if they outright tell him they are glad he did it for the good of the village.

 

The sane aspects of the fandom (non hardcore SS/NH) though know how terrible the idea of just abandoning your family is, even if Kishimoto doesn't. Sasuke couldn't even be bothered to meet his daughter once?

Don't get me wrong I'm not making excuses for it, and your absolutely right, but this is Kishimoto we are talking about here.

Exactly, for example, I feel that Naruto from late part 1 is far more mature than his "the last" counterpart.
Sakura from early part 2 suffered a complete downgrade in later arcs
Sasuke's last development was entirely forgotten because plot...
 
And we got things that were supposed to never change changing, like Naruto's bright iconic smile

Movies and soap operas here are two different beasts. Granted both of them can be ridiculous but Indian soap operas have so much BS in them that you wanna go and slap the guy who made it with his own script.

And the soap opera from my country is using the same formula with yours.
Because the producer is Indian.

If you watch many soap opera from telenovela, k drama, j dorama, American soap opera, India soap opera. All of is kitten. A bs that fun to watch. Especially for housewife ^^.

... spend 12 years away looking for a cure not even sparing a glance for said daughter, like going back to the city to spend time with her or something? Even departing when she was still a baby? And as the first baby uchiha in years how they could reach such diagnosis with Salad as a baby still?
