Naruto: Still Can't Decide... because now it's between 2 consoles

Hey guys,

So I've been on a Naruto kick again lately. I'm thinking about getting a Naruto game for the 360 but don't know which one is best, and rentals here cost... too much to justify spending that amount to figure out which one is best. Which title should I buy?

Broken Bond is the one to go for. Online sucks but the single player is pretty good. Rise of a Ninja is the first one, but doesn't have as many playable characters.

Broken Bonds. More characters, much more stuff and unlockables than Rise of a Ninja. Although Whirly said that Online suck, but I have to say it is better than RoaN online features. happy.gif

Hey fellow gamers,

Instead of creating a new thread I thought I'd just change this one a bit. I see Broken Bonds is better recommended. But now I also am wondering if I should get the Wii Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 instead? thanks for your help.

I'd still go with Broken Bonds Since it has an Adventure Mode and Online Multiplayer. Ive played CNR2 and it's alright, but the motion controls aren't mindblowing.

Well, honestly, its best to wait for Revolution 3 which will release in 2 months and its based on EX1 with new moves and some dipswitches like in the Street Fighter series. If you get 2, you get a filler storyline with 4 exclusive characters not seen in the original. I haven't play any other CoN games recently so...

Well I'm looking for one to sate my Naruto game cravings now. As far as the filler story... that's what I kind of like about some of the other games I've played. I love the manga/anime, but I don't want to re-live every moment of it over and over again with simply better graphics and different controls... is the story okay or is it pretty suck?

Honestly I really enjoyed the PS2 games despite the fact that they're simple button mashers with God of War/ DBZ-- cut scene button combinations.

As I said before, I haven't played Revolution 2 and so far its about renegade and revengeful ANBU with the boss having a big bazooka... sweat.gif

Dude I'm speaking from personal experience here. Don't buy any Naruto games or and anime/manga games for that matter. They all suck.

Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4 is by far the best game in the series on the Nintendo platforms, so I'd either buy that, or go for Broken Bonds. I have all the Gekitou Ninja Taisen games in japanese, and they're good fun to play in multiplayer, but the single player parts are a bit tedious. The story mode and unlockables are easily best in the fourth game, but that's for the gamecube.
