I was thinking it would be fun to see if anyone had cool or unique ideas for NARUSAKU fanart. I always have ideas but I thought it would be good practice to take on the challange of someone else's.
SO, give me good ideas and I'll draw them and share them here!
Here is an example of a drawing I've done:

Nice structure, clean lines. Well done. Though, the face could use a bit of work, as the alignment seems a little off and it contradicts the lighting that you established with the torso's shadow.
As for a suggestion...well, a collective favorite seems to be ideas on their children. Since you seem to have a solid grasp on their character designs, you may want to try your hand at it and see what you can come up with.
Karly, I don't know if you can hear this. I am not a believer, I haven't been since Sheryl died. But if you can, I want you to know that I'm truly sorry for everything bad I've ever said about you. When you were suffering, I should have been there to help you. I should have visited. I should have encouraged you to leave the house and get a job, to be active and alive the way you used to be.
I promise that I will do everything that I can to be successful and a good person, to make you proud the way you would have wanted me to. No matter what I said, I loved you. And I will always love you. Rest in Peace, you will never be forgotten.

Thanks for the feedback!
Yeah that was a good idea. I think I'll try doing some more since this one turned out a little wonky in some areas. Its always a challenge to do a drawing with multiple figures interacting.

Nice job. Though, I would shorten up the jaw on their child a bit, make the face rounder. As is, it makes him look too adult. Also, remember that Naruto is taller than Sakura.
Also, is there any reason why you like to leave the framework lines visible?

Good observation. When you're used to drawing adults, it can be a challenge to get the proportions right for a child. You know, its funny you mention the construction lines. I honestly have started to not notice that I leave them. Ultimately I think it's because it's been encouraged my all my teachers. They like to see my thinking so to speak (kind of like showing you're work on an algebra problem). So basically I've just gotten used to leaving them. Plus these aren't intended to be finished, polished drawings. They're sketches. Just trying out ideas, you know?

I've been an artist for quite some time now. It's pretty easy to pick up on things like that. Yeah, I know what you mean about liking to see your thinking. I've never had any proper art teachers, though. I'm mostly self-taught. I have a stack of sketchbooks as tall as I am, all filled, and I still have a lot to learn. It's something I really need to get back to. I'm getting rusty. Believe me, though, if you wish for feedback, stick to the NS fanart. The rest tends to be mostly ignored here, I come to find.
