Not gonna bother. If the manga becomes as popular as Naruto you know his editors and the fandom will take over for him and the series will go their way not his way.

Yes. Some Samurai bandits are attacking a village. Oh swords have bio-metric lock to them. Yes even the steel ones. They beat the bandits, something about a cake. The no name character -yes they do not have a name- ask if some day they can cut a different kid of cake. Hint, Hint.

 

The chapter ends with the cat and the dad talk. Turn out the red lazer sword from the first chapter means that Hachi is a key holder. So Daruma ask who the dad actually is.

 

So Hachimaru will either get a girlfriend or a girly boyfriend Whatever. Laser sword? the star wars jokes are coming here too I guess I'll give credit where it's due though. At least it doesn't seem Like Kishi is doing direct blatant copy-paste ripoffs of character archetypes like he did in he beginning of Naruto to my understanding. Well I could be wrong but as I've said, I'm not gonna bother reading so it is at the discretion that I'm am missing context obviously

....Pretty sure I mention the light saber katana before Phantom. Go back to page four. Also her either becoming a best friend or a girl friend of Hachi I mentioned last week on page 5. Even if your not going to read it can you at least like Boruto try retaining some information so either you don't act surprise by something I've already talked about or ask something I already wrote in the summary or honestly anything along those lines.

 

Hachi is very Naruto like. Very exuberant, easily offended, loud, and so on. The no name is shy but never as bad as hinata.

Sounds decent from what I gather from the comments here. Whether it is better than Naruto, time will tell. But as long as he sees this though UNLIKE with Naruto, it probably be have a satisfactory if not great ore amazing ending. Because if there is one thing I realized, no WSJ manga or anime series has an AMAZING ending. There are either meh, whatever. Or you feel more could be done since they leave the ending kind of open ended

Well well, the supposed main female character has already been introduced into this series, and it seems like Kishi (potentially) is laying the foundation early!... now lets see if hell stick to it all the way to the finish line of this story.

After what happened with Naruto. He cannot be subtle. In fact like I told you lucky with the red string manga a year or two ago; no manga in shounen jump has been subtle about who their love interest has been since Naruto ended. So, at this moment he is blatantly stating to any editor he get from now on, "this is the love interest. This is as clear as I can state this without out right saying she is the love interest. I have also plainly stated that it is an important part of Hachi story now that he sticks with this girl. I am not changing this no matter how popular you claim another girl maybe with the fans down the line."

 

As for the girl I don't get the feel of Hinata from her, at the moment, but its is very easy to tell that how nH happened influences how he is introducing this girl. For example Hinata fans have been calling hinata both princess and goddess since both she got what she want and the last happen. You don't think some Fanatic at SP have also been calling her that around kishi as well? So, he made that "Ann" "a princess" despite being a waitress at a tea shop is because she is Hachi's Princess. So that if he introduces a girl later on that is a princess and fans want her to now be the love interest because she is a princess...well it doesn't matter because she is not Hachi's Princess. Need more scenes to like her or not though.

 

Hachi is better then bolt because he is enjoying life instead of constantly whining.

 

At the moment everything in this story so far has been set up. So it hard to really comment on it until he actually gets started.

Yeah, From what I gather, Hachi is not a whiny @$$ b!ct# like Bolt that complains about his life when LITERALLY  EVERYTHING is handed to him on a silver platter. So the Heroine turns up up a few chapters in huh? Just like Sakura I guess. Well if she is the "love interest" then great. If not whatever. I believe Kishi learned his valuable lesson with "sticking to his guns" regarding that, but I'm just giving the benefit of the doubt, and also trying not to be blindsided like with Naruto (even thought I'm not even reading it). For some reason though Hachi does not seem thrilled about the aspect of a "princess if I'm not mistaken by that image but I suppose we'll see where this goes.

Is that the MC and the Heroine in the image that luckychi7 posted? . Looks different than the one in first page , i thought the MC suppose to be half human half robot ... and by the way i remember sage of the six path hagoromo the moment i saw that MC ... and the girl reminds me of that heroine from ao no exorcist ... maybe both of them is the father and the mother of MC ?? like Minato and Kushina ?? ...

Yes you can read it for free there. If you read through it you are reminded of Naruto (but things are a bit different). The necklace sort of looks like the crystal Tsunade gives Naruto, and there is a girl who looks like a guy (kind of like haku). I get that we can't forgive kishi for what Naruto became but if you look at it separate from Naruto maybe it has a chance to be decent. I still have no wish to buy the manga and support kishi
