I hope the the blossoms were beautiful this year
The series' writing went south the instant Naruto decided to be yaoi for Sasuke and chasing him like a love sick puppy even more so than Sakura. I'm just saying. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ That is not how a friendship works, and that's being overly generous if you ask me, because in my eyes they are not even friends. But hey, the NaruSaku moments were nice in part 2 though
Then you got him claiming in the Boruto manga that he would happily kill his own flesh and blood if he were ever to betray the village (whether it was of his own initiative or not). Yet he couldn't dare conceive of doing such a thing to his "Best Friend, Brother, Secret Lover" Sasuke, even though he attempted to destroyed his home, his allies, and loved ones of his own will on several occasions. Kishimoto just continues to illustrate why people in Japan call Naruto "The Worst Scumbag".

You know how people say "If Naruto didn't forgive, then it wouldn't be Naruto." To me, that just proves how Naruto never develops and never grows up. There are limitations to forgiveness even for the most holy of people. Even God himself will send the wicked to hell.
Naruto can be unforgiving to certain villians. He claimed he never forgave Nagato for all he did so there is proof.
It is just this idea that Naruto learns nothing. He doesn't grow up. You don't have to be cynical, but you can be realistic.

I think in Naruto its even reference that, "even the Buddha loses patience when insulted or hit in the face three times," its from Tobi introduction.
So, even in a religion that heavily influences Kishimoto's culture says there are limits; which again, he out right quotes.
The problem is that most self-reflection by Naruto would lead to serious questions. Questions kishimoto does not have answer to, so he avoids. Mostly because it would raise questions of why is Naruto still chasing after and forgiving Sasuke no matter what. Which kishimoto stuck Naruto with in part two because he decided he wanted the rematch to be both the final battle and what returns Sasuke to the village.
As for villains it ties to the talk no jutsu. At first Naruto hates them for being kitten and the enemy but then after fighting he learns about their sad past. Then he gives them a speech that they shouldn't give up. They change their lives and then their friends with everything being under the bridge. It started with Haku.
Also he forgave Nagato. He said he still hated him for killing Jiraiya when they finally met despite him remembering Jiraiya's teachings. But by remembering them, he decided to ask about his tragic back-story. Learned it. Talk no jutsu. Nagato revives everyone. Naruto forgave Nagato and when they met again during the war, they're buddies.

I just realized that H stans are really trying to say Naruto wasn't obsessed with Sakura. The revisionist history...like we all didnt' want this boy turn into another person to tryand kiss her. Its eating them up inside to this day that Hinata wasn't Naruto's first love/crush. Like....your girl is married to him now...relax. No need to twist history to fit your ship in your head. wtf

Again, its the same thing as the Last, they don't like Hinata being seen as Naruto's second choice/sliver medal.
In their minds' Hinata is the ideal woman everyone should wish for. The fact that Naruto spent nearly two decades looking at her going, 'meh, not interested,' and instead chasing after Sakura makes them seethe like nothing else can. Not helped by the fact she is the exact type of girl they hate. Even in the manga---hell sometimes even in anime, its clear he only ended up with Hinata due to her liking him and Sakura already being taken; with clear signs that he isn't that attracted to her despite being married for years.
Yet, the manga ended with nH winning. So, they try to convince themselves it was always intended and Naruto always loved Hinata, only loved her, and loved only her because they are obsessed with true absolute devoted love. Where you never love anyone else but them and the children you have together.

he didn't try to kiss her, he wanted to tell her what he thought of her(forehead comment etc), except as himself he couldn't get up close to her. so he transformed into sasuke, whom she wouldn't shoo away. then she tried to kiss him. he froze, not knowing what to do. pointing this out cus some people actually claim assault for this kitten.
besides the most obv thing about all this is kishi saying 1. the last was narusaku's goodbye/them realizing they're not compatible, and 2. he wanted the manga to end and the movie was the studio's idea. so was prolonging the franchise to a sequel.
1+1=2 and narusaku got scrapped.

It also further agitates them after the one of the latest episodes had Hinata confirming that Naruto is hardly ever intimate with her and romantic gestures from him are rare. A far cry from the man who used to shower a certain pink ninja with affection and appreciation whenever possible.

He didn't plan on kissing her nor did he plan on telling her how he felt. He disguised himself as Sasuke to ask Sakura what she felt about him (Naruto.) So, he can learn, "this is what she thinks of me, this is why she doesn't like me, and this is how I can get her to like me." However, while he was disguised as Sasuke he felt a confidence boost of both anonymity and she wouldn't reject him to give her a compliment; the exact compliment she always wanted to hear and made her fall in love with Sasuke. Then, when she went in for a kiss, he forgot he was disguised, tried to go along with the kiss, but he felt the spoiled milk he drank that morning bringing him back to reality and needed to run to the restroom.
This of course made Sakura think 'Sasuke' was just being shy. Then when she saw Sasuke again she wanted to get back to the kissing. However, Sasuke was on the hunt for Naruto for one to get back at him attacking him, and two to question why he transformed into him. Sakura thinking she was about how she was about to get it on with the making out with him didn't want to talk about Naruto so she bad mouth him to end that. So, they could get back to the kissing. This made Sasuke who already held her in contempt to be outright disgusted by her.
You can't really trust or believe that Kishimoto planned nH all along in-secret because nothing else he has written shown he is capable of keeping a long term of a plan like that hidden in the story.
It's also because they project themselves as Naruto and want it to be that way with NH because it's how THEY want it to because hey just project themselves onto AND dint give a damn about how he really feels, or how realistically their pairing win is simply a runner up that "won" a Pyrrhic victory based on pity.
Boy think they are Naruto. Girls think they are Hinata. What they think is what matters not what others feel or think; that is how they have always lived.
It also further agitates them after the one of the latest episodes had Hinata confirming that Naruto is hardly ever intimate with her and romantic gestures from him are rare. A far cry from the man who used to shower a certain pink ninja with affection and appreciation whenever possible.
Ah, so they are still doing it likely to make you pity her and hate Naruto; since they rather you hate him than her as well as feel some from of pity for her. Also, again it was what they were given by Kishimoto when he was writing them as a married couple. While they can soften and downplay the negatives they are still stuck with it.

Oh absolutely! Which is said since Sakura claims she is Narutos friend but that is a bold faced lie with how they tend to be.
Not to mention that Naruto is "more than family" when talked to Sarada in the anime.
What's Happening with the Naruto series as of now!

that moment was sad actually, because salad asked her mother if she and the hokage were close. if they still were, she'd know. sakura said back then, in their genin/chuunin days, they were more than family.
