Anyone notice that the english version of Naruto Shippuuden leaves out a u? They spell it Shippuden. So wrong!

Two U's is wrong. Really there should be an accent over the U but we can't do that so some people would use two U's.

I'm gonna guess that Viz is right on this matter and not people on naruto forums.

Well, if you can read katakana/hiragana, then you'd see in Japanese there is a "uu"
Although some people do use a "u" with a line over it...
I use "uu" though, Shippuuden looks right to me.

So I have a couple problems with the subs so far.

1. They removed the honorifics. Not a big deal I guess, but if I'm watching SUBTITLED anime I want the honorifics to stay there. Not seeing Sakura-chan is...weird to me.

2. I think they might be censoring it. I know Dattebayo knowingly changed some of the subtitles and inserted cursing that wasn't there, but in these official subs they're using the word heck when even the uncut English dub uses the word hell.

Well, for 1, I'd say that majority of Americans don't watch the Japanese version online, and perhaps it'd be weird to them to see "Sakura-chan" or something... I'm not sure, just a guess.
For 2, I'd say there will probably be quite a few preteens watching it, and their parents might not want them subjected to words like that.
