Honestly it doesn't matter that SS will be together in the end, because they're not gonna get that happy ending most believe. Sure it might end on neutral terms, but nothing having a big happy family.

Just look how SS ended in the original series, all he did was say sorry imitate something his brother did to him, then leave. There were no hugs, no kisses, and no I love yous. My guess is that Kishi thinks it would be uncool for Sasuke to show any affection for Sakura or salad. So at most we will have the girls smiling, while Sasuke is stony faced as usual.
