I saw the episode at narutoget.com but I think the episodes is not complete it stopped playing when Sasuke is carrying the eight tails.

Nope. They don't do them after every ep anymore. Now it's usually after every 3 or 4 eps.

All around decent episode. the hachibi fighting Sasuke was brutal, especially with the way he did him injury both times.

only real gripe is that they goofed up big time the moment between Karin and Sasuke after she heals him. In the manga he stays and his thank you is followed by a you saved me Karin as he acknowledges her saving his life. He even lets her rest on him before standing up and taking Killerbee on again.

its one of the singular more important moments between them and for Sasuke as a character to say thank you so gently. they also over did the sexual component of Karins healing a bit.

At least they kept her attitude consistent where she tells him to get off his arse and get fighting again.

I -ed when they got to Sasuke biting Karin. Freakin' overdone. Sheesh. I never noticed she was reaching to pull down her shirt the second time around. Kyaaa Juugo and Suigetsu are sooo awesome! Sasuke's damn lucky to have people that will make sacrifices for him!

As much as I would like to get to Pain's attack, I'm actually sort of looking forward to the filler arc. I think the anime team must have gotten some new people or something, as it seems like the quality of the show has risen since the last filler arc ended. So I'm pretty interested in seeing what they do with a Jinchuuriki story, and I'm just sort of wanting a classic "Team Kakashi on a mission" story right now. I hope it's just them for once and none of the supporting characters are thrown in.

Though, I was under the expectations that we would see Raikage and Team Samui before it started, and now it's not looking like it.

I feel your pain too Cupcake-chan but it can't be help. The anime is moving too fast and if this keeps up it won't be long before they reach the manga in order to prevent this from happening they need to make a filler arc and a long one until the manga gets further ahead again I just hope it isn't longer than the three tails arc because that filler arc sucked . I hope this arc will be good it will about the six tails and it will get good if they put some N/S moments I know I know fillers don't count but N/S fillers are better than N/H fillers any day.

Kishimoto doesn't have anything to do with what the anime does, especially when it comes to fillers. That's entirely made up by them. At least with this time the 7 tails character design and name is Kishimoto's, not just totally made up stuff, but the girl they'll be escorting- everything about her was made up by the anime time. Guarantee she'll be another fangirl for Naruto like the Shippuden movie filler Naruto fangirls. From the clip looks like she'll be the fainting, helpless maiden type... and for some reason the 7 tails abducts her, in the clip with him this time he had an Alpha male type vibe...

This is now my favorite episode. Quality animation plus Sasuke getting his s*** wrecked. A lot.

And man, the manga certainly didn't do justice to Killer Bee's Large Ham tendencies. God, did you hear his acting when he was being "burned" by Amaterasu? "Aah, uuh, ooh, waaah!" Could he have been any more obvious?

What do you mean shippuden movie filler Naruto fangirls I have never heard that before???

Shion the snotty priestess from the first Shippuden movie, and Amaru the clueless girl who dressed like a boy in movie 2. Apparently movie three was blessedly free of filler fangirls, just filler villains and the story focuses pretty strongly on Kakashi, Sai, Naruto and Sakura. The other classmates of Naruto and Sakura also have some part in the movie, and even Gaara makes an appearence. I'm actually looking forward to when it gets released on DVD in Japan and we can see it. There's actually some funny narusaku moments in movie 3 too.

I have to agree with the whole SasuKarin moment. They completely made it so damn... so... shojo-ish... Like it almost become an ecchi manga or something...

this is important for one very specific reason. remember this is Sasuke. Mr I dont need anyone, bonds are a weakness. further more the Sharingan is Sasukes greatest weapon, and it cannot see in 360* around him. thus anyone in Sasukes backside is in his blind side and is a great threat to him.

so for Sasuke to tell someone to and I quote "Watch my back" is an really telling thing. especially given the notion that one puts someone special they want to protect behind them.

this is the moment where I dont need anyone Sasuke thanks Karin for Saving him. Karin proves shes not a fan girl by humbly saying just yeah, instead of squeeeeing like a little girl and going all gaga over him. he stays in close proximity to her and lets her rest.

they took a moment specifically written between them and had him jsut stand up and blow it off. it didnt happen that way. whats next are they going to take Naruto and Sakuras hug and have them jsut shake hands or stand there staring at each other from a respectful distance?

I dont mind small liberties like not including the sage training which occurs during the fight but really dont short change a moment between two people thats very clearly written.

when karin is hit by the black flames Juugo is holding Sasuke back from throwing himself into them to Save her. When he extinguishes them it is Karins name that is foremost in his mind as he does this.

yet in the anime they left it silent.

I highly doubt they will take out our NaruSaku-hug scene because its very important (its like HUGE-HUGE with the whole village celebrate with him)

However, I believe that unlike NaruSaku, SasuKarin doesn't have what it takes to have those intimate moments and that's why the scenes were not there because the writers probably feel that Sasuke and Karin should have one-sided moments... I'm sorry to ruin your SasuKarin bubble, catsi

thats not up to the writers to decide and its horsecrap if it is. they might suddenly decide its mroe realisitc for Hinata to come up and hug him first on his return and for Sakura to punch him into orbit if thats the case.

If they want to add scenes in fine. If they want to add in filler to keep the pacing of the scene fine. If they want to push a scene back like they did with the sage training fine.

but they dont get to cherry pick the scenes to their liking. when they start doing that they start going down the path fo the Full metal Alchemist Anime. the one that no longer even remotely resembles its manga counterpart.

Sorry Derrock but your wrong here. because if they can change something as clear as a SasuKarin moment because they feel like it. then they can change somthing more signifigant like the NaruSaku huug or the confession becuase they feel that Hinata would be better in that moment or mroe realistic.
